You can upgrade, which new phone to do you pick

My next phone must have an unlocked bootloader. So probably no moto for me. My incredible on CM7 gingerbread is as fast (or faster) than any phone out, and i am getting 30 hours of battery life with pretty heavy use. So... probably going to hold off a while.

I have a D1 and feel the sameway. I plan on buying "My Phone" as in no locked bootloader, not lease a phone Never had an HTC phone, so the thunderbolt could be my choice. My upgrade is up in august of this year.

If rumors are true, I'm gonna buy the Motorola Nexus phone no matter carrier.
Motorola build quality + Google calling the shots = EPIC

I can upgrade to a new phone now and Costco is giving me a deal on a Droid X for 9.99. My phone needs are: phone calling (obviously), surfing web, texting and maybe reading my kindle books. Is the Droid X a good buy or should I go for IPhone? Money is no object.
