"You have a virus" advert

Would you be able to try post a screenshot when you get to a computer? How long have you been getting the ads... is it quite recently?

I got this same thing last night on a different site. Local news or something. It really pissed me off, I had to close out and go into browser a couple times to catch the tabs button so I could close it without hitting OK. I got a screenshot - I think it was a different URL.

Assume it's a dodgy site and not Kaspersky as my link claimed?

Hard to say, without actually clicking on it. The page title reported back is that of Kaspersky, but the domain it links to is owned by a Russian ad agency. It could be something very dodgy, or it could be that the ad agency registers your clickthrough and ten redirects you to the real kaspersky site.

Either way, it's not cool. Making people scared they have a virus.
