"You have a virus" advert

Keep getting the following advert when visiting the forums.

Link points to Kaspersky Android Security | Android Antivirus Software | Kaspersky Lab

Got screen shots from my Nexus 5, but it won't allow me to upload as attachments.

Is it when you're visiting from your computer, a browser on your phone or via the mobile app?

I got this same thing last night on a different site. Local news or something. It really pissed me off, I had to close out and go into browser a couple times to catch the tabs button so I could close it without hitting OK. I got a screenshot - I think it was a different URL.

Assume it's a dodgy site and not Kaspersky as my link claimed?

Hard to say, without actually clicking on it. The page title reported back is that of Kaspersky, but the domain it links to is owned by a Russian ad agency. It could be something very dodgy, or it could be that the ad agency registers your clickthrough and ten redirects you to the real kaspersky site.

It's clearly in the Google ad net work as now seeing on other sites.

Easy to get rid on the phone, a PITA on a desktop.

If you're using Chrome, you can hit shift + esc to open up the browser's own task manager. If you've got a tab that won't let you close it without clicking on a popup, you can kill just that tab from the task manager instead.
