Help "You must enable html email to view this message"

Has anyone found a solution to the "you must enable html email to view this message" message that the stock mail app produces? It seems crazy to me that such an "advanced" phone cannot view html email in the stock mail app.

Um ... do you have a restriction set on the size of e-mails that mail account can receive (in the Android client)? I get HTML mails fine, but on one or two boxes that I have only downloading 5Kb I have to download the rest of the message.

Of course ... HTML mail can take more data ... so for some store and new subscriptions, I specify text-only.

I changed the settings for the amount of data allowed in emails, and now pretty much get the html. Thanks
