YouMail and my regular contacts

What's with my contacts now being filled with garbage from youmail? Quite annoying. I uploaded y contacts to youmail in an attempt to rectify this but all that did was make my contacts list even more messy.

How do you properly manage this?

We've found the contact aggregator on an Android device differs depending on who manufactured the phone (ie Samsung's Contacts App differs from HTC's People App... even though they shouldn't :/)

In the meantime, you can try disabling the sync or removing the sync account (Settings > Accounts and Sync) and cleaning up the contacts on the phone, or keep the sync active and do the clean up.

Why don't you use the contact management in Gmail? It syncs to the phone and it's easy to manage.

I wanted to resurrect this one.
The Youmail duplicate numbers don't show up in google contacts on a desktop. When you go to make number selections, it is duplicated.
Sync is disabled - I have also uninstalled and reinstalled.
