Help your device does not support software upgrading via kies

hi all
been looking for what seems like weeks for an answer on this problem
my settings are
PDA I9100XWKH1
PHONE I9100XXGS
CSC I9100XEUKH1
BUILD MONDAY AUG1 11.52.38 KST2011
software 2.3.4
number gingerbread.xwkh1


any ideas how to get kies working welcomed:)
 
Hey. i got a sgs2 and i live in cyprus. i tried to update it via seetings->about phone->software update and it says no update available. i tried to upgrade it through kies and it says your device does not support upgrading via kies eventhough i got 2.3.4 version. i found out that my CSC code was KOR (idk which region is that). i searched for CYO that supports cyprus but there is no suck a csc code on my options. I chose XEO for poland (even though am not from poland) but it still same thing. i cant update neither through phone neither through kies.A friend has a sgs2 living again in cyprus and he is using XEO CSC CODE and he upgraded it fine. whats going wrong? any help will be appreciated thanks.
 
has anyone resolved the issue of no dropdown options when you try to change the code this is a head scratcher for me i want this to get ICS on my sgh-T989D
 
same trouble here - gs2 i9100 getting the same message - "your device does not support upgrading software via kies"

i have the latest kies on both the laptop and the phone, i have reset the csc from kor to xeu

edit - just reread the thread and it's probably a dodgy installation causing this - if so can anyone recommend how to go forward with this please?
 
Managed to fix mine,
Bought my Galaxy Note, new form a local store
I found out that I was on KOR csc and kies upgrade wasn't working
Looking at my ROM - it was a russion one... SER
Changed from KOR to SER, total wipeout... but now kies identify my version and at least tells me I'm on the latest 2.3.6
