Your Music Player?

as you may be able to tell, all my previous phones have come with a music player... the nexus does not..

I don't use Play Music, so I was wondering what you guys used as your music player?

thanks

I use Play Music because it can play both songs stored locally as well as those uploaded to their servers. Bad experiences with Play Music in the past?

Google Music is awesome, not sure why you don't like it.

if you want another Music Player though I used to use power amp

I've used Pandora for years but the wife started to use Google Music and has converted me.

Even though it's a little more expensive a month ($3.99/ Pandora-$7.99/Google Music) I use the radio part-which is what I use mostly-I believe it sounds better, has more artists to choose from and it's GOOGLE!

Used mixzing for years, never had any reason to change.

I do use napster also for my subscription music, I prefer the app/layout etc to Google play and Spotify etc

I really like Power Amp. Great sound and a lot of audio controls for getting it the way you want. Professional.

Am thinking of trying Google Music for subscription music and radio functions.

I use PowerAmp for locally stored music and Google Music for streaming from their cloud. I've tried others but those are the best to me.

Any way to easily upload the library without duplicates or minor tagging differences splitting albums? That's my biggest problem with it, never got past uploading more than a few of my favorites because I don't have time to re-tag the full library

Google Music since it came into being, does all I need it to, love it.

Does Google Music have it's own music player, or do i need to download one from the play store? Thanks for any help.:)

Google Music has it's own app that your device may come preloaded with, or it can be downloaded from Google Play for free.

So if i download the Google Music app to my phone, i don't need any other music player? Sorry, but i'm a first timer with this "cloud" thing.:)

If you download Google Music, it should find any media you have on the phone. You also have the option to upload your music to their servers to stream from the cloud on up to 10 devices, or pay a monthly subscription for their all access which is similar to spotify. However playing local media or streaming your uploaded songs is free. They do have to be uploaded from a computer though using their program which you get from their website for free.

Thanks. I'm uploading all my music(i have it backed up) into Google Play on my MacBook Pro. Once that's done, i'll download the Google Play app onto my phone. I have MX music player on my phone, so i should be good to go. 10gbs. of music takes up a lot of room on my phone, and now i should be able to get that space back! Thanks.:)

Google Play Music is nice. Upload your collection and you can cache music for offline listening ...so you don't even need to stream it.

Do I need a video player, or does Google Music/Google Drive have one "built in"? I'm trying to cut down on the number of apps on my phone. Thanks.

I used to have that issue also, but you can Edit the song/album info on your PC so it is all organized, then it syncs with your phone obviously.

I wish you could edit it on the phone app but I don't think you can, has to be PC
