Your X10 Deal

With my current phone Sony Ericsson C905, in the settings you could have either Orange or Sony Ericsson interface. Surely it would be the same with the Xperia X10?

As for the changing numbers, I think you can ask your provider to block certain numbers can't you? Or did I imagine that? ;)

I'm thinking back to when I had my SE K850i and Orange had actually disabled features on the phone such as the auto rotate for video and had taken games off it that came with the SE phone as well as removing a number of themes.

Since that day I have always gone with unbranded at the cost of a slightly higher premium for the phone and contract but at least I am able to perform software updates from SE when available (don't laugh) rather than wait for Orange to approve their custom ones.

Yeah, I'm sure you can ask your provider to block numbers but to me changing numbers is no issue as there are only a handful...well two handfuls of people I want to have it ;)

Yeah Orange can be infuriating at times when they do stuff like that!? I pray that they haven't done too much to the Xperia X10!

Ah that's fair enough then! :)
