Help YouTube Android subtitles not working

[gentle79]

Hello!

I successfully got subtitles to work on my YouTube videos on any operating systems such as chrome, IE and Firefox on computer, apart from Android. Unfortunately, it failed getting subtitles to work on my YouTube Android videos. Why did it not work? File type issue?

I wonder if anyone here has ever successfully got subtitles to work on YouTube Android videos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

I get CC to work on the YouTube app. If you want it to work on a browser on the phone, the browser has to be in desktop mode. You don't get the "options" bar in mobile mode.
