Youtube app vibrates when cards appear and another problem

Hi everyone, for the last week or so I have been experiencing a couple of issues with the YouTube app on my Huawei Nova 3i
The first one (and the most annoying) is that when watching a video, the phone vibrates whenever a card appears (that little i in a circle in the top right corner, as shown in the first screenshot)

The second one is that the overlay of the control buttons (play, next previous, exit full-screen etc.) won't disappear unless I tap that cross in the bottom-right corner just next to the exit full-screen button, normally the overlay should go off after 2 seconds or so, or when you tap any of the empty screen areas.

Now I am forced to use some modded apps such as YoutubeVanced and OGYouTube, which don't save my watch history and this is seriously impacting my user experience on YouTube.

I would really appreciate you help.

Best regards.

I don't see that "that little i in a circle in the top right corner, as shown in the first screenshot" in videos in the YouTube app on my Huawei Mate 10. It's got the share and the three little dots thing though. What's it actually supposed to do? I'm using the latest version of official Google YT app.

It doesn't exist in all videos, google YouTube Cards and you'll understand what are they

I know this thread is ancient, but mine started doing this a couple of days ago. I thought it must have been an update to the Youtube app and tried all sorts of settings. Nothing worked. Then I realised there had been an app suggested by Google in the Play Store that I had installed, called "Voice Access". I couldn't find a setting in there, so uninstalled it to see what happened. Problem solved for me.

That previous answer of mine was for the vibration. For the control buttons overlay not disappearing, go to Home in the Youtube app, click on your avatar, go to Settings, Accessibility, and turn off the Accessibility player option.
