Youtube - No Good?

Hi,

I have a fast internet broadband connection at home.

My G1 internet browsing is ok, fast enough when using Wifi - could be faster but limited 3G in my area.

Anyway when i use the YouTube app it is terrible. Video page opens but then sticks and a box comes up with (Cannot play video - Sorry, this video cannot be played) whilst audio continues. On box it has a button that says OK, once pressed takes you back to the Youtube app? :confused:

Anyone else having this problem?
 
My younger brother has the iPhone and the quality of youtube on that phone is much better. On the G1, it seems overly bright and pixelated.
 
Mine does seem to be rather pixelated, too. Definitely could be better video. The loading time is good for me, though.
 
It probably has to do with the different times I use it. From my G1, it's usually during business hours. From my PC, it's during the evening and weekends.

Either way, I did exaggerate a bit, but I'm not too far off. It does load very quickly on my phone. If they could only fix the pixelation.

Ok either you have an epic EDGE service.. or a 56k internet. take your pick. LOL. Even if you have like cable and you use youtube during evening and weekends, it should still be.umm.. faster.

how come youtube videos are not full screen it looks like it takes up half of the screen?
Yea there needs to be a fix to view it full screen.
when i encode movies on my g1 its full screen and the resolution is much better
 
On my touch pro, it works fine. If my camera battery was charged, I'd post a video of youtube workin' on my phone.
