OK, so what is the deal with the youtube not being able to play video?

OK, so what is the deal with the youtube not being able to play video?

If you're on 1.5 then the only way you will be able to play video is via WiFi, or upgrading to 2.1 (root pref) Verizon or HTC thought it was a great idea to not have video play via 3G.

I just use my browser and go to youtube. The app doesn't work that comes with the phone.
