Help youtube not working

When i fire up my youtube app, i get a quick black screen flash and it goes back to home screen. The app doesnt launch at all. It was working just fine for several months, all of a sudden it started doing this.

Anybody have any ideas on a fix?

Are you in airplane mode by chance? mine does the same when I put it in airplane mode but its fine otherwise

I got sorry cannot play this video a few times... Giving me hero flash backs... Hopefully it doesn't get worse... That's how it started on the hero.. 1 or 2 here and there then every time...

Maybe it has to do with being on .3

I had this problem too.
What are you on, 2.1 or the 2.2 Froyo?

Mine fixed when I updated to Froyo.

yeah I was going to say the same thing, Make sure you didn't turn on your phone while in Airplane mode. I'm also on 2.2 (rooted)

Mine has worked fine with both 2.1 and 2.2, Its the one problem I haven't had with this phone..

I was in airplane mode for a few hours earlier in the day, but when i launched the youtube, i was out of airplane mode...

Just had the same problem on my droid 1....I powered the phone down and pulled the battery. Started it all back up. Now Youtube works perfectly fine now.

I have a Hero, and have the exact problem! I'll try pulling the battery, and also coming out of airplane mode.
