Hello everyone, So in August i got the samsung galaxy s2 and ever since i got the phone youtube has been playing havok.
I am a youtube partner so i upload a lot of videos. Now i know that youtube then made it so that you had to have a google log in and if you signed up before then then you had to link your account with a google account. So what i done was link my accounts (as the samsung galaxy is a google phone that was all fine).
Now the issue is that whenever i go into the facebook application the first thing that comes up when i try to sign in is that my account isnt linked to a youtube account. My account is linked and i have even tried unlinking then linking again but it doesnt help at all.
When i go into the web version on youtube it was all fine, i can still use it, upload vids and whatever but the app i cannot use at all.
Now i have another issue, i originally had adobe flash player but then it disappeared and so i tried to install it again and it seems like it doesnt do anything and youtube says i must update adobe (but my phone wont allow an update as everything is updated).
Today when i tried just simply viewing a video on youtube through the app ( which always worked) it said my account isnt linked to a youtube account and thats it, it wont allow me to view anything and just shows that. I dont know if youtube has changed or what but today it literally dont work.
I tried the web version which is always logged into my account, I click on one of my sub videos and nothing works, the video stays black and sometimes a blue transparent lego block appears in the middle of the blank video.
Does anyone know whats going on? like i said everything is updated, even my phone has had a system update and it just says android version 4.0.4 and the youtube version is 4.2.16 if that is any help?
I might have to close my youtube account if i cant get this issue fixed, I have asked everyone and others just say to link the accounts (but their linked). Does anyone know if i can merge to accounts into one? I have another account that works through the app but only because i created another through the app but my other account is the partner one, can you merge the two?
