YouTube on the Eris

It seems, almost every video I want to see is unable to play with the youtube app. I'm not really a big youtuber as it is, but why have a youtube app on the phone if it can't play 99% of the videos? Although the browser works better, I do get the same result for some videos using the browser too. Is this part of the limitations with having Android 1.5 or what?

this is an issue that was introduced in the last update on Dec 11th. There is another scheduled update for Jan 22nd and hopefully it will fix the issues. (There is a leaked ROM out that is the Jan 22nd version and apparently it does fix the issue)

Yeah I'm hoping the update this month does the trick for youtube and better battery management.
