YouTube video freezes

So I've came up against an issue on my Galaxy S7 (Android 8.0.0) - each video on YouTube freezes for a half second on the very beginning, but only on beginning. I've noticed this problem a day ago, watching video previews, it's like short freeze, but quite noticeable. I've tried to restart phone, clear YouTube data and cache, uninstall and install it back, turning 'playback' or 'muted playback in feed' function off and on, nothing helps. If someone has any ideas - I'd be quite happy.

have you tried rebooting your router? try that and see if that helps.

Just tried it, didn't help. On other devices (PC and iPad mini 3) everything works fine. One more thing I've noticed is that this little frame freeze appear as soon as audio starts playing (probably).

Try connecting to a different WiFi network (i.e. at work or a friend's home) and see if that same problem occurs.

But regarding your home WiFi network, are you connecting this phone to a 2.4GHz band network or a 5GHz band one? Have you tried switching from one to the other as test? (... the general rule is 2.4GHz provides more coverage range and can penetrate things like drywall better while 5GHz provides better bandwidth speeds, but there's a lot of overlap between the two in real world usage.)
You might also want to try setting up a guest network, using just its default configuration as a test, and see if that same problem is occurring.

Do you have any kind of anti-virus/anti-malware app installed on this phone? If so try disabling it to see if that results in any improvement. And/or is there a VPN service set up on this phone, or on your router?

Well my home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz bandwidth and I have none VPN or antivirus programs. No, guest network didn't fix it, as I already mentioned, everything runs fine on my iPad mini 3 and PC. But I've noticed even more - this little frame freeze appears at the beginning and each time I'm trying to scroll it forward, so conclusion is that it appears only when trying to scroll video forward and on the beginning (which at some point is scrolling itself), so it may be related to my phone more than Internet itself?
