Camera doesn't have image stabilization right? I've been reading and haven't found IS feature mentioned.

No. I read that it has stabilization something, but no OIS. I've read the camera is pretty good though. Waiting for more reviews.

Well, being the user of xperia for over a decade, I can't imagine that xperia will lag behind especially in cam quality.
