Help Z3 making loud radio buzzing sound randomly

Since I updated the phone on Monday with the latest Sony release 5.0.2 Build Number 23.1.A.1.28 the phone suddenly omits a loud buzzing sound like an out of tune radio station. It lasts about 2-3 seconds and then goes off by itself. What is this all about and why are these updates causing SO MUCH damage to the phone?

You may have a defective phone. I'm on the latest update and no issues whatsoever. Everything is working as it should. No damage, no bugs.

Thanks - I guess this is something I'll need to look into.
