everytime i run it to do a permanent root it tells me that im not in usb debug mode even though i am????? wtf is that and what do i do

Try to run Z4 right after a reboot.

Use this link to get into USB debugging mode. I have all three options checked because sometime in the past it was recommended. Then try Z4.
