So I put my phone back to stock. I installed thw z4root and when I went to install it, there was an error that sid wrror parsing. What do I need to do

I got it now. If I root it, can I install clockworkmod and tben cm7 on 2.2

Yeah root it (you have to be rooted to install Clockwork Recovery/CWR) and then flash Cm7

I meant 2.1. I am back as t stock recovery
