Help Z5 Premium auto-correct problem

Hopefully someone can help me with this. Auto correct doesnt seem to correct the words for me, despite clicking the 'i want my words autocorrected' do i need a specific keyboard for this or something? Its really irratating im using the international xperia keyboard and don't know how to change it. I have to correct my words manually which is a massive pain because i have to type much slower

I really like the Swype keyboard, it is great, and does a good job of learning what I want.

Install that, then the next time you need a keyboard, you will be asked which one you want.
Once only, or Default to Everytime....

I can sometimes create an entire sentence just by picking the auto selections suggested.

Why? you just disable the one it has, no problems.

So i downloaded the app, and it was worse again. I had no problems like this eith the Z3 keyboard. :/

I the interest of helping out a fellow member I switched to the Xperia keyboard on my Xperia M, a lot more primitive than yours I know, lol. I did a test and when I type "i" I get that as a suggetion and "I" as the "main suggestion" in the middle predictive text box. It must be something in the "text input settings" that you haven't checked or is checked and shouldn't be. If it corrects it on mine which is light years away from yours I'm convinced that yours will do it to, it's just a matter of finding that setting and changing it. Good luck, Vin.

P.S. As I said, my Xperia keyboard is generations away from yours so I'm sure the settings are very different now, but if you can't find it let me know and I'll screen shot you mine to try and troubleshoot!
