Z981 Wifi Hostname

Does anyone know how to change, or even see, what the Wifi hostname is? I want to change it because I have three of them in the house and it makes it difficult to get the firewall settings set right without having to look at the mac addresses.

Go to settings> more> tethering & mobile hotspot> mobile hotspot settings> configure mobile hotspot

I'm looking for where to change the name that my router sees when I'm connected to it.

The internet tells me it's supposed to be in Settings > About > Device Name but looks like ZTE removed it for whatever reason.

I'm curious about this now too, I opened a thread on the ZTE forums about this, I'll let you know if I find out anything. I wouldn't mind being able to change my phone name. Seems like a pretty ridiculous thing to remove from the phone, I don't recall ever seeing an Android phone where we couldn't change the device name.

You can change your phone name in BT settings. I actually am confused with the OP, it does not seem like he is asking about changing phone name but rather his router name? Who has 3 routers anyway, oh yeah think we have more than 3, LOL.

But for the router name, I mean aren't you able to change/set your wifi name in wifi settings?

Really confused with the OP question here.
