Zenithink 180 quit installing apps?

Just got my ePad last week and really liked it....... Until it quit installing new apps.....

I fired up my new epad without an sdcard and started loading new apps from Market. After installing about 10 apps I noticed out quit installing new apps......... Figured the epad ran out of internal memory......

So I bought a 16gb sdcard for the unit.........

Thought I would be smart and uninstall all my Market apps and redownload them again onto the sdcard......

Well so much for thinking........ The epad still won't download new apps and install them....

It's like the internal memory is still full....

Do I need to purge the internal memory somehow? Or am I gonna have to reinstall the 1030 firmware to get this epad back to it's shipped state?

I am hoping for an easy fix instead of reloading the 1030 firmware....

Thnx for any help...

The ZT180 tablet has both internal memory and external SD card provided memory. I believe that internal memory is limited to about 512 mb or so. Based on your description, however, it doesn't sound like you ran out of internal memory. It sounds like the tablet just decided to stop installing apps. Try going to App Drawer -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Running. Click on the Android Market and then click on clear data & force close. Reboot the tablet and then go into the market. It'll make you agree to the EULA and act like it did when you went into the Market for the first time. Try installing an app and see what it does.

If this doesn't work then you might want to consider reloading the firmware on the tablet. In any case I'd suggest checking in with our ZT180 guru's in the Tablets & Mids forum...

I have had the exact same problem and bought a 16gb sd card and this has totally fixed all my problems. The only annoying thing is that i have to clear data every single time i want to download an app so i have to do it all 1 at a time but i can live with that :) thanks alot guys

Clearing data typically frees up space in internal storage...
