I don't think fast zombies would be possible. Zombification seems to involve death and the removal of whatever "spark" makes humans different from animals.

Having read the Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z i think i'm pretty prepared

got my house protected with ready made barricades and metal shutter to put over the windows during the day/night. Got my supplies stored both up and downstairs incase we lose the bottom floor. And i have an array of weapons ready to use against any Zombie stupid enough to come near my doom fortress! Buhahahahaha!!!

What about zombie Cheetahs? The fastest animal on earth would surely make a pretty quick zombie.
I don't think the zombie virus can cross species. You must be thinking of the T-virus which is a totally fictional thing.

I think I'm thinking Game Of Thrones, which had zombie polar bears, and even a zombie dragon.
Isn't that a TV show or something? I'm talking about the upcoming real world Zombie Apocalypse. The original Zombie plague in the 1960's was beaten down with better education and that strain dying out but the Zombies started returning when cute catch phrases were substituted for actual factual research and early dissemination of information.

Depend on the zombie type, if it is just The Walking Dead, maybe it is just okay to survive... but if it is World War Z..not even a single day i think i could survive lol
