Zooming on s3 problem noise

When recording video on my 3 week old s3 if I zoom using the volume control this CLICKING is picked up by the microphone every time you operate the volume rocker.As soon as the volume rocker is operated a SLIDE bar appeares on the screen which if used to zoom there is no noise which is great,but it goes away when not used so WHY can't I make it stay on the screen when recording video.Any suggestions please.Des
