Is there a way when zooming in (while browsing) to keep the text size the way I left when I zoomed in? Seems like every window or link I open I have to zoom in.

Try double tapping the area you want to zoom in on.

while using browser try menu>more>settings>default zoom .. & or the text size option in the settings .... maybe a preferred setting is in there
