Zooming

[DeadReek]

Zooming - Have a Huawei M865 running Android 2.3.6; is there an update that allows for smooth zooming (not an apple fan, but like the iphones, ipads do), I drop class notes to the phone but it's either too small or when you zoom in it's so large its way of screen and just a pain to scroll back and forth.

Any Ideas?

All modern android phones support pinch to zoom, and do it well. Unfortunately, you have an old, low-end phone. There is not an update available and you are stuck with the phone as is. I would advise upgrading when you can and getting a newer low to mid-range phone.

welcome to AF...

you cant do much about the OS.. the phone is old and not supported well.

i would suggest you try other apps to view the notes. they may have better viewing options and zoon functions to meet your needs. look in the playstore and try out all the apps that work with your files.

Well you can get a new phone that has the same hardware and performance as an iPhone (Galaxy S series) to get smoother zooming, but they cost as much as iPhones as well. The problem is your phone being low end and old, which is why it can't do things very well.
