I can't get an animation I download to work..need help figuring it out.

Help zte boot animation question

First you have to be rooted,Are you rooted?

Yes I am rooted on Zte zmax using TWRP and My ROM is CM 12.1. RC 2... I have changed boot animation several times and it works bit there are a couple that I really like and would like to use for extended period of time ..but when I try them it goes from powering on straight to booted device and appears to skip animation.. Not sure why that's the reason for my question.I know the others I used were smaller in size but unsure if that has anything to do with it

How are you applying them?
I recommend the app Rom Manager by J Rummy. (make sure you have a backup made in twrp 1st!)

I vaguely remember that I had to correct the written code on a Nexus boot animation that I wanted on my old ZTE Force 4g LTE.I can't find the thread on Xda.
But when the code was written wrong,It just passed by it on boot.
Just something to look into.

Just copy and paste using twrp... Putting it in system media

Animation worked sound file didn't play maybe I am doing something wrong with it.. Copy paste mp3 to system media audio ui..changed name to PowerOn.ogg I think that how i saw it suppose to be done. Did I rename file correctly or did I miss something ..sorry for the 2 part questions.

I never worked with the audio end of it,But do more research on it.
