Help ZTE Kis

I have a ZTE Kis, Android Gingerbread, Virgin Mobile network.
Deleted Google Play app, After this when I turn phone ON.
I get the ZTE logo window, ZTE in white letters on black background.
Finally the Virgin Media logo window, it is stuck on this, goes no further.
If this phone can be brought back to life it will be as a spare phone.
It was operating well before I did the deletion. Thank you.

This phone is from 2012...
I doubt the battery nor the hardware will still be able to make this thing a usable device.

Thank you for your prompt reply. The Kis I have is the first model. There is no genius way of getting into the Kis.
If not I thought it would be the case that it would be to old so asking on the Forum was a chance.

can you power off and then access to the recovery menu? if so we can do a hard reset.

ocnbrze, the phone will power on but no longer powers off and I think this must be the end of this ZTE. dashed

Power off by holding in the power button for a few seconds?

Dannydet, I tried it, it stays on the Virgin Media window until I take the battery out. I can switch ON but cannot switch OFF. dashed.
