Was hoping someone might know a fix for my problem. Ever since I rooted my phone. The bluetooth will not turn on. It hangs for a minute or so and then remains off... Any clues. Thanks in advance.

Sorry you are having a similar problem. I have sound, wi-fi, etc. Just not able to turn on blue tooth. It hangs in "turning on" grey mode for about a minute then nothing... Just been living without my stereo headphones. Not the worst problem, but would be nice to figure it out.
I was reading on another forum where some guys seemed to have the same problem as mine and they solved it by typing in codes and deleting lines etc. I had no clue where to begin or how to decipher what they were talking about. I rooted my phone through adb and have the eafile explorer, but still am lost....

Rooting the phone can't be the reason. I rooted my friends phone and his bluetooth works fine. I think it may have something to do with an interfering ap though. I read in another forum that some think their issue has something to do with the bank of america ap. This is a 3 day weekend for me and I hope to try and research this further. I wonder if I tried to send his bluetooth apk files and/or odex files to my phone and replaced mine with his might work. When I read what others have written about "deleting lines" and adding permissions here or there are so on, what they llreferring to? Are they using a file explorer, or are they in the command prompt and making the changes there? I am really in educated about tinkering with phones, but am learning alot. On a side note, my phone will no longer boot into recovery... nice, huh?
