Help ZTE Merit screen

I have a zte merit straight talk phone and when i turn it off and when it comes back on the blue tracfone screen blinks and goes crazy it does the samething when i go into my pic gallery any ideas?

sounds like a gpu issue

you may have a defective phone--and i highly doubt it's software related at all.

i'll give a you stock nandroid though that you can restore and see if that fixes your issues. you will lose all you have though and it requires clockworkmod recovery

i did that and it comes up with a bunch of stuff at the end it says signature verification failed installation aborted

Did you have anything named update.zip on your sdcard? it sounds like it tried to flash a zip instead of just wipe data.

Not that I seen there was no update.zip I contacted Straight Talk and that was no help did a factory reset an still same thing.

Weird. Just go there from settings/privacy.
