zte warp tether question

was thinking about getting a zte warp and boost $60 unlimited plan 5gb data and root the phone for wifi tethering as long as i keep track of my tethering data right at or under 5 gb i shouldnt get banned or whatever off boosts network should i?
 
Assuming Boost doesn't block tethering. Some carriers do (at the back end, so nothing you can do on the phone can get around the block).
 
I'm currently Tethering with boost. It's the only Internet i can get where i live. I think they have blocked torrents? nothing seems to work.... But as long as you dont do torrents or blatant heavy P2P you should be fine.

A few years back i was torrenting like crazy on boost with tethering. They didn't throttle to 15KB/s back then and i got a stop text. They basically give you a warning and that's it.

Now that Throttle speeds are an unstable 12-16KB/s, you kinda need some slow downloading manager system lol, 12GB deep this month...

oh ok i just want xbox live lol is your ping good on the tethering? whats normal speeds? and is it wifi tethering? cause my ethernet port is out on my computer so i couldnt bridge

My ping Tethering is around 150. It really depends on how good your connection is to the tower. I noticed that if i get at least 3 bars i can get a stable ping around that number.

Wifi tether from a phone for gaming would be a bad idea. I use cable. When you get throttled they will drop you to 15KB/s. I manage to play Diablo 3 fine at 15KB/s... kinda odd...
