Then don't Root at all.

you can switch to su. I have several times. chain fire released an app making it easy.

I'm guessing you have the AT&T one.
If you don't use Google's services, go into apps, and hit uninstall updates for the apps you don't use. That'll clear it up temporarily.

For AT&T's crap, just go into the stock launcher, and drag and disable it.

These are probably your only options until a root method is out.
