ZTE ZMAX (General Discussion)

Yea I'm tired of it, better off here if anyone has any idea's, thoughts whatever let's just post it here and work towards achieving root, its possible just gonna take some more work.

"/sbin:/vendor/bin:/system/sbin:/system/bin:/system/xbin"

The root on the stock firmware is virtual. The root program needs to bring root to a locally allocated directory, or virtually within the sdhc parameters.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Sorry for the poor picture quality, srsroot is a no go

A general question... I had metropcs service on LG L70. It's 4g phone. no LTE. i had terrible call reception, had to use wifi calling all the time at home. now I have zmax on MetroPCS, a LTE phone. I get good call reception at home. i don't use wifi calling anymore. is this mean That 4g LTE PHONE or service gets better or should i say bigger cell coverage? i am only talking in regarding cell reception, not data speed.

That could be a difference in radio hardware quality between the two phones, or the 3G phone might have been defective, or the 3G and 4G towers are either separate or the 3G tower hardware is out of calibration.

No way to tell.

Typically, there's no cell coverage difference between 3G and 4G.

That said, if the 4G radio frequencies are lower than the 3G ones, the 4G signal *might* do a better job dealing with obstacles in the way of the radio signal.

Without a site survey, even that is iffy.

Do you have a setting to turn off 4G? Maybe buried under your mobile data setting?

If you can turn 4G off on your current phone you can get a better apples to apples comparison, and eliminate the difference between the two phones. Might not answer the whole question but might help with a part of it.
