Hey everyone! I am an old Samsung Galaxy user. I switched to this phone a couple months ago. Got it from Walmart then got it unlocked and switched over to cricket. Now my question is pretty simple. I am wanting to know if I root and ROM it will there be any known issues with service? 4GLTE? MMS? SMS? Would romming it and rooting it cause any issues since it was unlocked and switched providers? o_O

Just wanted to be sure before I start reading everything and get setup to attempt this the best possible way. Any tips you can shoot my way since you have it all working on your device? What steps did you take?

Yep I am all set man. I really can not thank you enough for letting me know there wil be no issues with cricket and the phone we are on. My girlfriend and I are now Rooted and Rommed. Lets go! Thanks man!
 
Just curious, but why use it on Cricket when Metro has better plan pricing?
Reception issues?
 
Where I live at I get great reception with cricket and almost none with metro and I've been with cricket for about 8 years lol
 
I'm on Candy 5 now and my hotspot which was used up for the month not only works again but better than ever is this something The carrier would notice and give me help about?
