Hello, first I want to thank everyone here who has made custom ROM's, recoveries and rooting possible for android phones and to those who write the WONDERFUL How-To guides that I have used many times with great success!
I have a rooted LG Volt (Boost Mobile) with the ZV4 ROM, the OTA ZV5 update was pushed out to me early Monday and I accidentally hit "Update"... the phone reset and tried to do it's thing but failed and rebooted I thought to myself wow how lucky am I that it didn't brick my phone, break root or get stuck in a boot loop.
I'm trying to update to ZV5 and flash the new radio but when I reboot into recovery it goes into stock recovery not TWRP and it will not recognize my sd card to install zips.
When I try to go into download mode it stops at fastboot: processing commands and will not fully enter the mode ADB shows no device connected.
When I try to use ADB and try to sideload thru stock recovery device manager will report it as an unknown device and ADB shows no device connected.
Does anyone have any ideas that I can try?
Would resetting to factory defaults thru the stock recovery brick my non stock phone?
Could wiping the cache partition help in any way?
Thanks in advance.
