All these articles about how Google is going to pressure oems to get OS upgrades out to customers because the majority of android phones are below Lollipop, and security is becoming an issue and they have to flash the whole phone just for security updates. No doubt the ransomware is coming to android big time soon. I hate to have to get a nexus, but maybe by Christmas I can get a used one. Rather have a used G5, but if Sprint doesn't make the phone rootable I may have to dump LG, which I prefer. I can't use any other isp except sprint/boost/VM. It's all bull because Lg was supposed to put up a website like HTC to unlock phones and they just bowed to pressure I guess. Gotta sell more phones cause rooting makes a customer keep their handsets longer, is what I guess their thinkingIts good lg has held their end of the deal on the phones but it is such a pain in the rear waiting for phone to get there then shipped back onlybto have it screw up again. Ive sent mine to them 4 times for other problems none dealing with brick just hardware issues. I think android rooting is getting harder. Think its bs that our version of this phone is so sh!tty. I have 2 iphone 5s on my desk with at&t but their 45 plan only has 3gb month. Im sitting at 7gb/month with boost
