Root ZVC Root Works For ZVE (Confirmed)

Hey welcome back how is it going sorry about the device but glad to see you rolling again:eek::D:thumbup: just to add if there some lazy people that didnt see or read his message about the backup . Well hey you not screwed yet . Just goto the lgtool and goto the update recovery and you will shine like new shoes:eek::D. O welcome back Biggie.

Sorry I haven't rooted in a long time. What do I exactly do I plug in my phone and internet connection only and their is a run and bunch of adb files. What do I do?

And when flashing roms do I only look for ZVC roms? Because I REALLY REALLY need a screenshop app or anything for my LG ESTEEM because the APPS from market all have to pay and the free one is horrible

I didn't like it but I loved how you can hold the lock button and screenshot. Do you have any reccomendations for a Lg esteem Screenshot rom or anything like that?

I use #2 my self because it was the first rom I could get working easily. I tried the broken out I believe and I couldn't get my data to work, but then again I didn't try hard enough.. There are users who has it working normally so if you're willing to put in the effort, I have heard good reviews from playfulgods rom. LG Esteem - PlayfulDroidz Wiki , there are two that works I believe, and CM10 under construction which I CANNOT WAIT ANYMOREEEEE.

Insure you have the drivers installed. Best bet is to un install them then install them again via the LG update tool.
Try this first-open the cmd window for root..then plug your phone in to the computer and hit enter.
Worked that way for me :thumbup:
