Orange tint w/ flash

Pix without flash are fine. Of 5 photos taken in succession, only one is normal with flash. Others have severe yellow/orange tint. Probably indicating

low flash brightness???
Problem did not resolve with higher charge levels, charger attached or not. Did try restarting phone, no difference. Same for different camera apps. This is Moto G Power (2022) I think camera flash capability is cooked. Your thoughts? Thank you.

Need help with settings

Is there any manual for this app. There are a lot of settings and no explanations other than the limited FAQ. I want to know - how to set this reader so that when the app is opened it automatically goes to the last page that I read in the current book I am reading - without having to set a bookmark each time I close the app. ALSO - how do I make all text in the book bold? I read ebooks due to a slight visual impairment so that I can make text larger and need to make the text darker - or bold. I see the settings for text - but no way to indicate a bold font for all text on the book pages.

Battery Life is Impressive

Okay, I'm impressed with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro's battery life. I purposely left the watch charger at home for my 2-day conference. When I got home this afternoon, 48 hours after I left, the watch still had 43% battery remaining! I'm going to TRY sleeping with it, just to see how well it performs as a sleep monitor, knowing it only needs to be charged twice a week...

Activity!! Please help.

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me. With google activity is the information provided correct? Anything to do with android is it correct times, dates and info? Can you tell what a person is doing on their phone while looking at the activity? Parent situation and I really need some help. Thanks.

Grand question is..

Since my cell is paid off and the only fluke I did found was a few settings, I have found when FDR ing it a few nights ago, the battery does last ages on end, all systems are go, but the blu tooth tends to make everyone's voice a robot when listening into the conversations like my friend and sister, so is there a solution of not making their voices into a robot when I listen to them?

Phone shutting down

I have an s6 I done a factory data reset yesterday after replacing the battery. Now when using foxfi phone shutdowns on it's own regardless if it's plugged in or not. And now it'll keep connecting and disconnecting to my laptop. It'll load bing and Google home pages and Facebook but won't load any other sites. I've tried restarting the phone powering it off wipe system cache from recovery mode. Uninstalled the foxfi app restarted the phone and installed foxfi didn't help with connection issue. I've done everything I can think of besides another factory data reset. Anyone have a idea what else it could be?

Hotspot Switch IP - Change IP for free

What is Hotspot Switch IP?
This is an app that allows you to change your public IP by turning on/off Airplane mode. Also, the application has a convenient web server, which allows you to check phone characteristics, IP address, battery level and even read incoming SMS from.

Features
  • The IP can be updated at any time by pressing a button on the PC through the web server or on the phone through the application
  • IP can be changed automatically after a specified period of time by configuring automatic IP rotation via web server or application. At the same time, you can set the period of time that will pass before the IP will definitely be unique.
  • The application does not requires Your device to be rooted to change the IP (the exception is devices with Android version below 6)
  • The user can control his device through the web server, read messages, check the charge level, turn on/off the hotspot
  • View mobile data charts through the app
  • The maximum speed is unlimited and depends only on the level of the mobile signal

How to use the application

Everything is as simple as possible.

  1. Open the app and grant all necessary permissions.
  2. Turn on Hotspot.
  3. Put your phone in a place where the mobile Internet catches the best.
  4. Connect to the access point through a PC.
  5. Open a web server or pick up your phone and set up automatic IP rotation. The "Delay Fly" parameter is responsible for the amount of time your phone will be in "Airplane" mode; "Rotation" - this parameter corresponds to how long your IP will be changed; The "Unique IP" parameter is responsible for the time that have to be passed before the IP will definitely be unique.
  6. Congrats! Now your IP will change regularly, after a certain period of time, and you can not be distracted from work. And if you need to update the IP right now, the "Update IP" button is available on the web server and in the application.

Help Cannot disable notification sound when charging Sony Xperia 5 IV

My Sony Xperia 5 IV always gives a notification sound and vibration when I plug in the charger cable. I have found a setting to turn this off, in Settings > Sounds and vibration, where there is a setting for "Charging sounds and vibration". I have set it to "off" but the sound and vibration are still active. It is very annoying. The only way to silence it is to set the phone to Do-not-disturb, but I really want to turn it off completely.
The system is updated and running Android 13.

Help Mobile hostpot name defaults and password randomises by itself

I have a samsung galaxy fold 4.

If I change the hostpot name and password to what I want it to be, it'll work fine for a couple of days.
Then 1-3 days later it'll automatically default to "Galaxy Z Fold 4 xxxx" (Upper case and number combination of 4 characters)as name, and a random weak password.

I have tried going through my list of apps with access to system configurations, and have disabled all except google services and system apps. Issue persists.

Change seems to happen randomly. It'll work fine for a while, then I'll go to use it and it'll be back to a default with a new password.

Everything all at once

The Z3 is now blank in the middle, maybe because that weird piece of plastic covering it has come partially loose. Meanwhile, the brand new 64 gb sd card I put in the Moto G Play is acting weird. It took 5 times for it to recognize it. I moved some downloads to it and was going to do some more, but it stopped working and is no longer listed. What is/are the problem(s)?

Help Needing a New Phone

Hi
Please help me find a new phone.
I was hoping to spend about £250 to buy outright, no contracts.
I noticed that the Google Pixel 6a was available for a little over £300 so I might stretch to a little over £300
for something special ie something that's great value and highly recommended.
My needs :)
I have two PAYG SIMs so I need an unlocked phone with Dual SIM capability. I have just found out about eSIM's (through reading up on the Pixel 6a) but it seems (I hope I'm wrong) you have to sign up and pay monthly for an eSIM, you can't simply use it with a SIM you already have.
I need 5G and I rate quick and long lasting charging over camera capabilities.
As I'm deaf, I need clear and loud calls, and hopefully, good quality and loud music playback.
I reckon all modern screens would be fine, but nothing small or large! Just average size.
I have a Motorola One which I believe has a 5.9" screen. Slightly bigger would be fine.
I do my smart-phoning on a budget and will be keeping it a while. I've had the Motorola One a couple of years and I'd keep it another couple but the call quality isn't great and I've heard that strangely (correct me if I'm wrong) that 4G will not handle calls soon, and if your phone isn't 5G then your calls will go through 3G and hence, lose some quality.
Oh - I'm getting on a bit so ease of use could be an issue (unlikely with an Android I know but just don't want any new-fangled complicated tech)
Thank you for helping.

sumsung s5 service over?

So I have used the Samsung Galaxy s5 for like the last 10 years. Mostly for the fact that you can you can replace the battery on its own and the battery lasts forever. For some reason I can't make calls. I cant even call 911(Yes i tried). It dials and drops the call. I thought maybe my phone was just screwed up so I bought another s5 and put my sim card in and it does the same thing.Part of me wonders if it isnt because of the VOLTE thing.

Samsung Care Plus Triple Surprise!

The triple surprise is that (a) I don't have it on my new Z Fold 4, which I purchased from Samsung in August 2022; (b) I never had it; and (c) I won't get it, even though Samsung Care Plus is included with the purchase.

Why not?

Apparently buried in the microscopic print, somewhere on the Samsung website, is the condition that users can only have one device registered for Samsung Care Plus at any time. My Care Plus coverage was activated when I purchased my Z Fold 3 in August 2021.

A year later, I upgraded to the Z Fold 4 but guess what doesn't automatically transfer? Because I didn't actively terminate coverage on my Z Fold 3, my new phone wasn't covered. By the time I discovered this little detail, I was past 60 days of ownership and my new phone can't be covered.

So BEWARE that if you upgrade your covered Galaxy device to a newer one, you MUST contact Samsung Care Plus at (866) 371-9501 and remove your old device from coverage before your new device is eligible!
