I've been searching threw the Playstore looking for a good call recorder app with specific features.

I want it to:
Run silently in the background
Record all incoming and outgoing calls
Save all recordings to Google Drive automatically
No ads. Free is always nice but I'll need a paid version to eliminate ads.

Any suggestions?

I can't connect to a SIP VOIP account when my laptop is USB tethered to my Moto phone, but VOIP works when using the same phone's wifi hotspot.

I prefer USB mainly because the phone charges while tethered. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm an older less informed bloke and I don't understand "when" you must accept or deny permissions, also can I download an app and then install it later?

If I accept permissions can I later deny one or more, and conversely if I deny permissions can I later accept them if they ARE necessary or if I just decide to accept one or more?

As Android Auto continues to improve, I was nicely surprised after updating it to 8.8.6 (via APK MIrror). I got in the car and there's a taskbar along the bottom! Instead of just one app on the screen and one icon at the bottom, four icons are there. It's a nice, clean look.

Sometimes the taskbar freezes up and doesn't respond to touch (not in my Ford Explorer, running it through AA Wireless... but perhaps it's a next-step toward the CoolWalk UI with multiple windows open at the same time. CoolWalk, however, is a server-side switch and Google is being agonizingly slow about the rollout.

Do you have CoolWalk yet? If so, how do you like it?

My father brought his Motorola to me asking me to get past his screen lock asking for a PIN. (Note: this Moto G was purchased on a plan through the service provider, Consumer Cellular, and they won't even advise on how to recover the phone, thinking there is some kind of legal issue.)

I had set up his phone months before and I would have never set up a PIN for a screen lock. I think his daughter-in-law visiting him (his wife, her mother newly deceased) maliciously set up a lock on his phone. I have tried every 4-digit PIN imaginable that he would use, which is why I think the DIL set up the PIN.

Went to the factory reset function and no, I did not realize there was this protection thing INANELY created by Google with the manufacturers. I get to the point where Google asks for a PIN (the PIN?) and failing that, then the gmail account.

Pretty sure I set up an account with the phone, but that Google email account is not working. We've tried all gmail accounts he has, maybe it's 2 or 3.

What's my next step? is it with Google? Surely they dont build a system that denies the legitimate owner of the device the use of his device?

I have a colored circle that appears wherever I touch the screen (any screen!)

I have enabled the developer options , and am told to look for 'input' option..

BUT I cannot see this anywhere!!!!

I recently bought one of these cases for my Moto G Power 2021. The case is fine, except that the large lip (at least 3mm tall and steep) around the edges of the screen is interfering with my typing accuracy. Could any of you recommend a solid case that would not have this issue?

I have a Blackberry Q10, on which I have installed the Opencamera app. I have no problems saving pictures to my SD card from the native camera app; but haven't been able to do the same thing with Opencamera.

Now I'm getting this crazy spam

Wifi suddenly dissapeared. Stuck in ''Searching for Wifi'' Won't detect my saved networks,won't connect with QR code. Already restarted. Airplane mode is off. Same problem in safe mode.
Device is Moto g41 running Android 11. (couldn't find it on the list)

I have a screen lock/pin but my Google account doesn't recognize it's on even after 8+ hours. Normal or something wrong with the phone or what possibly? Just wondering before I get another phone hopefully this week don't want the same issue on an new phone.

I unlocked the bootloader, then installed TWRP Recovery 3.2.1 ZE552KL, then the twrp screen opened without any problems. After that, I finally installed the magisk 25.0 zip file I downloaded from the install section in TWRP and pressed restart. TWRP told me something about installing TWRP versions and I confirmed it. Then the phone started to turn on and off infinitely. I keep seeing the bootloader unlocked warning screen and after 3 seconds the phone turns off, turns back on, turns off, turns back on. When I click the enter the recovery mode button, the phone turns off and on again and I cannot enter the recovery mode in any way. There is nothing I can enter except the FASTBOOT screen. I don't care if my data is gone. Please someone with knowledge help me
