long story short my other half updated her one plus 8 pro to android 12, after updating the bugs and battery issues were too much so she wanted to roll back upon rolling back to 11 the phone wants it previous pin the problem is she doesn't remember the pin ( I thought great I will just use the google sign in to get in) every time she try's to sign in her google account it says something went wrong please try again later. Could anyone help?

Yes have key etc, Have tried multiply time to create the basic app as per instruction but keep getting same error message.

In Activity
"mMapView.setCredentialsKey(BuildConfig.CREDENTIALS_KEY);" the CREDENTIALS_KEY is reported as cannot resolve symbol.

No other issues reported, does any one know what is the cause and possible solution.

I'm wondering if it's possible to set your camera input to an image? Like how with OBS you can use Virtual webcam to change what your camera shows.
So when I'm taking a picture it shows the image instead of the actual camera.
I'm using a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.

Hello all. I used to play an Offline RPG gaming when I was a kid. It was on Android 7 or so. The RPG is 2D, the screen it's like the fight games, and the art is pixelated. The main character has a Green Hair and use a sword to take out the Enemies. It's a very simple game: you select a phase and you go to map and clean the Enemies. The Enemies are most creatures like phantoms, slimes etc. It's a very generic description, I know. But I am eager to find it. Apparently it has been already removed from Play Store.

system update went wrong

Hi, this is my first post and I'm not sure whether to put it in the Google Drive forums or Whatsapp forums, sorry about that (also I type sorta narratively so this is gonna be LONG sorry)

Last night I deleted Whatsapp from my phone in an attempt to restore a chat I had impulsively cleared and wanted back. I reinstalled it a few minutes later to try and use an old backup to restore aforementioned chat from Google Drive.
Now, whenever I open Whatsapp to try and restore my backup, it checks for the account verification and then it creates a popup that prompts me to sign into my Google Drive account. When I click to sign in, it brings up a screen to select the account I want to use, but instead of showing my account it just says "Add Account." (I can provide screenshots if needed).

If I try to put in my Google account details (email) on the screen that appears once i click Add Account, it just says that the account is already logged into my phone and doesn't let me continue. When I tried to remove my account from my phone and sign in, it let me continue but once I got to the part where it said "Google Services" and started loading it just froze and took me back to the prompt to restore a backup.

I've tried removing the google accounts linked to my phone to see if it was just not letting me see them all, but it didn't work. Does anyone here know how to fix this?

My phone was smashed by the hood of my car.. Went and got a new s22. But, we could not trasnfer anything.
Is the phones internal memory an SD type chip too? Or is it a soldered type memory?
I just want to try to retrieve photos and videos off the phone.
I took my SD card out, obviously, but need the rest.
Or, should I just send it out to get it repaired?

I'm not using Google app or Google Assistant. But sometimes i do set timer using google assistant from home screen.

Anyways i have set mic permission for Google app in the App Info to "Ask every time"


As far as i remember when i would launch Google Assistant from the home screen it would first ask me "Allow Google to record audio? " and 3 options to choose from "While Using, Only This Time, Don't Allow"



I would always choose "Only this Time" so next time it will give the same option to choose from. But lately for some reason if i would launch Google assist it will instantly launch and listen for input.

I'm not really concerned about this. Anyone can reproduce following steps to verify this behavior?

It should ask "While Using, Only This Time, Don't Allow" if Google app in the App Info is set to "Ask every time"

I have the tmobile version.

Even after a factory reset my velvet goes up to 110-120 degrees fahrenheit. Is there a metal case? I only see tpu cases, no metal ones. I have this one right now.

It fits my tmobile velvet. Just the camera area in the back needed shaving a little to fit. But it works. But always heats up in my pocket because its rubber and clear in the back so works with my qi charger.

A metal one would be nice to dissipate the heat. But I see no metal ones.

I was looking at some others but not sure. Metal would be nice however.

I have an RV that allows me to control everything their their app as long as I am connected to the RV's local WIFI network (which doesn't provide internet).

It is obviously a terrible design as I cannot access the internet if I want to stay connected to it.

I know that about the "Switch to mobile data" option, but this doesn't work as this disconnects me from that WIFI connection. So that means I actually have to put the connection as a "Network exception" if I want it to stay connected.

Is there any work around to stay connected to a WIFI connection, but use mobile data when on that connection?

I have Straight Talk. Due to network changes, they tell me I need a new sim card. They sell me a new sim card for $1, send it to me, I call them on a different phone and we set up the new sim card.

I keep getting emails about my sim card not working. So I called them back to ask what's going on, and they tell me the same thing they told me before they sold me the "new" sim card. I'm informed that the "new" sim card is incompatible and I need a new one.

I asked why I was SOLD the WRONG SIM CARD, and of course, the guy can't tell me anything about that. After waiting on hold, I'm then told the sim cards are out of stock.

I've had it with Straight Talk. I'm so sick and tired of dealing with idiots.

Does anyone know how to delete the incoming phone calls? on my old lg k20 i could swipe the call as it was coming in and it would leave a message telling the caller i was blocking their number and then i could go to that number and swipe it left or right and have the option come up letting me block it or delete it or save it.

on this a21 phone i have not yet figured out how to do this. i think i found where i can leave a message but if i want to block the number i have to let it ring out and then jot it down and then go into the number and re-enter it to block it.

i'm hoping i can find an easier way to do this. so maybe someone has figured this out.

so does anyone know how to do this? i have yet to figure it out.

A shot in the dark here, hope a developer can help. I am helping one of our developers who has a little trouble communicating (I am not a developer). We want our web app to open the stock Front camera, but it opens the rear camera instead, but not on all devices, some older devices running Android 9 open the front camera. I suspect this has something to do with the changes in Android 10, but I'm looking for a work around.
Here is the code snippet of how he is opening the camera, please help me get the front camera to open across multiple android devices (mostly using Chrome browser for the web app). Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I just change it from clock face to digital, but almost every time I turn back my cell it goes with clock face, and does not save my settings on the moto app settings, or even the touch on the clock itself and it jumps back to the clock face settings. I do not want the date showing on the lock screen either... Hmmm... There must be a tiny glitch on it. I might do a FDR on it soon if it comes down to that.

Okay been thinking of the fairy art project for a bit now, I might tackle it today, and just sort of maybe thinking of the 3d pen for its wings, I am glad it does stick for a moment, but when it dries up in the area, that dryness it does not stick on it forever though. People on youtube are really strange. So I might just ad in colors with my pen.


Thinking it should be around like half way decent sky, also half way decent fairy, first do a dumb dumb one, and then see about the final project down the line... I do have so many other paintings I kind of forget to post up on here. Silly me, some of them are just bury on my comp, but I can easy photograph them and post them up on here. A few of them takes me a bit to change it through and thus a few more, sort of vanished before I put down the first draft on it...

How do you remove this very annoying shortcut. It is round, blue, has a circle around a stick figure. It shortcuts to volume, power, and screen capture.

On my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, running Android ver. 9, when I Long-Press on a phone number or address the popup menu doesn’t show the option to call (number) or to map (open Google Maps for address), but displays all the other options (Copy, Select all, Web Search, Share…).

Ideas?
