I got my new Samsung s21 FE a few days ago, and I have a question-
At 8:00 am I have a full battery.
My phone is my work tool, so I use a lot of Whatsapp time.
I also use a bit of Facebook, Instagram, sometimes Waze for like 20 min.
At 5 pm (after 2 hours nap) I have less than 30% battery.
The data usage marks 18.5% Whatsapp and 6% Launcher Nova, and then other apps.
Is that normal for a new phone's battery? Not to last a whole day?
I understand that my usage is a bit high, nevertheless...

Hello, I am currently hoping to use Accelerometer and Gyroscope in the healthcare application.

I have confirmed that the Application need to request permission (ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION) to access the motion sensors via (https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/sensors/sensors_motion#java). However, I'm little confusing that whether the permission "ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION" is required only when the app uses the "step related sensors" among all motion sensors. Because, "ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION" is notated only in the descriptions of Step Counter and Step Detector, not accelerometer and gyroscope.

Also, when I tried to use any application (using accelerometer and gyroscope) in the play store, I couldn't check the procedure for requesting permission.

I would like to clarify this. If anyone knows whether the Android application have to ask the permission to access Accelerometer and Gyroscope, please reply. (or, if anyone gives me the URLs, I'd like to check and learn about it.)

My android auto connection randomly disconnects for no apparent reason when I'm connected via USB cable This occurs a new Ford sync 3 system and a newer KIA system

Bluetooth remains operational but of course USB provides better functionality
Updated cable but no joy. Also no problems with Samsung phones

Please help. My husband thinks his phone has been hacked or it's under an MDM of some kind. I need help reading log files & really just help to figure out if he's been hacked, by who, what MDM if there is one & how to fix it. If it's something else or something wrong with the phone if someone can run a remote diagnostics tool or if you know anyone or any company or app that does. I'm really at my wits end trying to figure this out & Idk what else to do. Some of these are phone log files & some of them are log files from an app called Nova Launcher Prime. I'm hoping for a bit of advice on an appropriate phone upgrade.

I currently have the Galaxy S9. It was an 'upgrade' from the S7, but I dislike it. An opportunity has now come to upgrade the phone again.

My issues with the S9 are battery life and a very slow camera (by this I mean that it takes the phone an age to transition from the home screen to a photo/video-ready state). Both have been issues since I first acquired the phone.

The S10, S20 and S21 are my upgrade options, although the S21 will come with a cost, whereas the S10 and S20 are free (via an extension to my current plan). Is there a clear winner for me here? I would say that my phone use is standard (social media, web browsing, calls/texts, simple games). I'm really looking to address my issues with the S9 without sacrificing elsewhere.

I got a pack of 2 on clearance for maybe a buck. I got stuff hung up all right, but then I found the plastic hanger thing was too thick to let the door close. Where can I find something cheap and thin enough to allow for door closure? The idea is to hang up 3 or 4 jackets that way.

Hi, I'm trying to change the default storage. on my Samsung A12.

As it is now even when I move an app over to the SD card ((no more than 1/3 of the apps am I able to, the others don't allow me the choice)), then move back to Internal Storage, off the SD, every few days .

I read somewhere online that to stop this from continuing I need to change the default storage of apps to the SD card.

I've tried everything, but they are older posts & it looks like Android updates don't have the option any longer or if it does and I don't see it, could someone tell me how to do it?

Ok I have an interesting question. In the attached pic of the messaging program (either samsung messages or verizon messenger+) you can see what looks like the normal contact icon for some of the conversations. However one of them which i have circled looks more like an app icon. First, would anyone know if it was an app icon or just a contact icon? Second, how can i figure out where this message came from and why that icon is there... i cannot gind a way to see the number it came from etc. And thats odd because every single other message that came in has a phone number or designation from where it came from...
This is the only one in the message app that has a completely different icon. Any ideas to figure this out would be appreciated!

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with my new s10e's settings or perhaps tell me if I'm asking for the moon.

1) I switched from a unlimited data plan to one where I pay per gigabyte, and would ideally like to lock certain apps (especially Instagram) to only use wifi. I've tried to google and it seems lots of methods describe the reverse -- only using mobile data. But I want to keep Instagram tied only to wifi.

2) Similarly, I'd like to have an easy way to turn off mobile data completely. Right now, I can do it in about 5 clicks, by going Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Mobile Data > off ... but I think in my old phone there was a Mobile Data button there in the Settings (not sure what to call them, the buttons that show when you swipe from the top...flashlight, wifi, airplane mode, etc.). I looked and didn't see that option anymore. Is it still there? I just want to easily turn it on and off, minimizing the time I need to be fiddling with my phone to get it off (or on).

3) Lastly, in my Galaxy S6 I loved that I could get to the camera by double clicking the "Home" button. And that button is gone, replaced by a small square that doesn't access the camera when double-tapped. Is there an alternate way that I can get it, without swiping, in a tap or double tap?
