Hi, i have a Samsung A3. The problem is that when i try to open my website from chrome or samsung web browser, some icons do not appear properly, and appears to be some type of glitch, however, it works fine with my Samsung galaxy s10, and other mobile phones e.g Oneplus 8, iphone, etc. Chrome is fully updated on my A3 phone.

Just want to know Is there any compatibility issues or other software issue with A3? can't seem to figure out

I'm have just started with Android development and please bear with me if I'm asking trivial questions. I wanted to create a video diary where a person can create video dairy for a day. He will be able to see the videos he recorded laterwards. Since storing the video in the phone is not a scalable option, I want to store it in some cloud storage and stream from there directly when the user wants to access it.

After doing some google searches, I have two ideas in my mind:

1. Use google drive with LibVlc. After uploading the videos to google drive API and then use LibVlc library to play the file directly.


2. Upload the video to youtube privately. And stream it from there using Youtube Data API.


Since I'm very new. I even don't know whether this would work or not and I really don't how I would be doing even using the above approaches. Any thoughts or comments on how I should proceed or is there a better way to do the task? Or any resources or ideas that I should look into.


Any help would be appreciated.

So specifically it's Facebook Messenger, the notification saying it's displaying over other apps is always there. I've tried disabling it, but after I do and then leave the settings app it starts displaying again and the setting reverts to allowed. How do I fix this? Or is it a bug in the software?

I would like to somehow mirror/flip the screen of any android tablet or just a powerpoint presentation so it is readable when using a teleprompter.
I have considered writing some kind of script that does some PDF or maybe even PPTX magic but for my exact use case it would be way better if there is some kind of "out of the box" possibility or app that does what I want.

I would be grateful for any kind of help or advice.

What I am trying to do should be easy, but I haven’t figured out how to do this. What I want to do is simple: create a list of all installed apps and their version.

• One site suggested: adb shell sh -c 'cmd package list packages -f' – this worked, but did not show versions and it seems that ‘list packages’ cannot provide version info.
• Other sites suggested the app ‘List My Apps’, but the version info only seems to show up when one taps a specific app of interest.
• Other sites suggest writing a Java program, but that seems like way too much work for something this simple.

If it matters, I am running rooted Android 10.Any suggestions you can offer will be gratefully welcomed – thanks.

Hi Guys,

Opened the Firefox app on my Samsung S7 and it froze halfway through loading the page, then all buttons stopped functioning, then the screen went black. Tried forcing a reboot by holding the power and volume down button, no joy. Tried charging (even though I know it had 20% charge), no charging tone nor did the screen light up. Tried plugging it into the computer to access it, but does not show up in windows explorer. At a loss on what to do next, any help would really be appreciated.

Is prying a Google phone apart to replace it's crappy battery with a crappier $10 ebay battery really worth the effort or should I just go out behind the garage and smash it and then buy something better?

It's a pixel 2 and the battery only lasted 2.5 years. It still runs but only lasts about 4 hours.

I have an ebay battery on my shop desk ... I suppose I can try it and see.

Everything 5G is trash.

Now the family's router has two frequencies- 2.4GHz, and 5GHz.

The 2.4GHz works fine.
Now my devices keep trying to link to the stupid 5GHz connection, and then the signal is weak and I cannot connect.

Even if I stand in front of the stupid thing, an app I have tells me that it is 3.7m away.

The 2.4GHz is reoresented as the correct distance.

But for the last 3 days my devices have not been able to connect, and it says IP failure.

So today I walked out to the end of our service area, and lo and behold, they both linked right up to the 2.4GHz signal and work fine.

But as soon as I get close enough, they try to link to the completely weak and worthless 5GHz signal and then the connection is lost.

I have restarted both devices multiple times, restarted the router multiple times, and tested the wi-fi on the devices everywhere else.

The only issue is at home, where this stupid, worthless 5GHz signal completely barracades any internet access.

Now that my service provider (T-Mobile) has completely shut down the Sprint system here, I have no cellular service at home either.

They brag endlessly about their 5G crap, yet cannot even provide LTE, let alone any cell service reliably.

This is nothing but total frustration, and I find it difficult to believe that it is not meant to be so.

5G is a total waste of time and effort.
I can very easily see myself ending my entire online presence rarher than deal with this.

Yesterday I even sat in Wal-Mart's parking lot for an hour just to mooch off their wi-fi in order to contact people- at keast until the horrible 'music' they blast outside drove me away.

Tell me again how great 5G is, while I have to drive miles away from home to use the damn phone.

I use Groundwire on my G7 Power, and it has worked fine for a long time.
Now, suddenly, Groundwire will register with my VOIP provider if I am on wifi, but it will not register if I amattached via Fido (Rogers) data. The app developer says the dns is not working for his app.
Any thoughts of where it might be blocked by Android?
