In Wikipedia app, when I selected text with my old LG phone, I was seeing a "Translate" option, and clicking that would open Google translate with the translation.

Now, with my new LG, when I select text, there's no "Translate" option.
With different apps, the menu changes. For instance, with Chrome, I see the "Translate" option.

How can I add the "Translate" option for Wikipedia app ? On new and old LG, the app version is the same.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you. Alternatively, you can connect to the Samsung PC suite, Smart Switch and check via that.

I have an Samsung A40 that, after my daughter dropped it in water, seem to have a faulty OS. It boots and then gets stuck on the brand screen. I can get it to the root meny, so technically I could fix it with a SDcard I have. Found a firmware that should work. The problem is that the largest file is 4,5Gb. And as Android is only compatiible with Fat32 I can't transfer the file to the SD (Via another phone). Can anyone help me find a firmware that is less than 4Gb?

In the OEM Z Fold 4 contacts, I used to be able to change what a phone number would be called, and I think the option might have been "custom", but I can't remember now. For example, if I had a contact entry for "Amazon", and I wanted to add a second number in addition to customer service, and let's say it was an Amazon employee named "Bob", I could change his phone number to be listed as something like "Bob, Customer Service". Now I do not seem to be able to do that. Maybe I noticed it sometime around the last phone update. Has this feature been eliminated, or is there now another way to do it?

I looked at my phone book, and I see that I have some entries where these custom names are still showing. I can edit it, and it says "edit custom field", but I see no option to create a new "custom field"

Could I get help on choosing a tablet as I already have to return one, I obviously spent too little on it:

YQ10S Android Tablet - I like my 2016, generation 7 Kindle Fire HD better than the YQ.

So now I'm thinking about a Samsung, but not the S9 as I don't draw at all so why get that. I mainly want the Tablet to replace my 17" screen HP Laptop which is basically backup for my desktop HP Gaming PC, which I rarely use for gaming. Something I can do all my business on easier than my Moto One 5g Ace which is too small for a lot of things, for me anyway.

I do not like Apple/Mac/Iphone anything, been using Android and Windows PCs much too long to change now.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would go up to 4 or 500, and less wouldn't hurt my feelings either Denise

I have recently just bought a 2019 BMW new car and it only supports Apple CarPlay, is there a way I can use my android instead without having to pay a 3rd party company to basically take my whole dash apart to fit a new system?

I am trying to sync my Redmi 12 with my car, which is not Android Auto compatible. The phone syncs okay, but the car cannot access the phone book, it says that I need to give permission in the phone. I cannot find the setting to do this, can anyone help?

I want to flash stock LG firmware on LG G8 (LM-G820UM). I would first like to backup what is currently on the phone, just in case I want to play around with it in the future. I also want to lock the bootloader again. Could someone please point me in the right direction? How do I backup the firmware the phone currently has? When I search for firmware how do I find out what firmware do I need, which one should I choose and from where should I get it from? How do I flash firmware on LG phones? How do I make sure I have done everything correctly so the phone doesn't become a brick and how do I lock the bootloader again? Do I also need to flash any rom/s? I don't have much experienced flashing phones. Any help is appreciated .

When using the app I can't see where my files are stored on pc but when i look at the disk C the partition's size is decreasing but I can't find the storage file when it's sent and for a clearer view i changed the save to location to another folder but can't find the stuff that's being sent.

Ok, this is really annoying. It's been going on for some time now. If I have my Bluetooth headset connected to my phone, everytime I end a call, my music just starts playing automatically. Sometimes immediately after I dial a number and it starts ringing, my music will just start playing automatically. Not sure if the person I'm calling can hear the music, but I definitely cannot hear the person with the music blairing. Then after I pause it and talk to the person, I hang up and the music starts again. I've tried to kill the music app. It doesn't matter which music app I'm using. I was using Spotify. I recently uninstalled it and now just listening to MP3s using either poweramp or Samsung music player. They all do it. Whatever app I use to listen to music in my car auto starts playing when I use my Bluetooth headset everytime I use the phone. The music starts playing automatically only when I have a Bluetooth audio device connected to the phone.

When I go to my Bluetooth options, I have the option to disable/enable phone and audio... I cannot diable audio/music on my headset because when I use my phone to make calls, I'm using the app sideline which I use voip which is using the music channel to make calls. I'm not calling using the android native phone app. I do this because my cell signal at my house is really bad, but we finally have rock solid fast internet.

I work from home, so this is super distracting when calling customers.

As a simple way to handle robocalls, I'm looking for an application that, without ringing, would answer the call/text message with a voice/text message "I don't asnwer calls/messages from unknown/blocked numbers. If you wish, leave a voice message or send a text message.", and hang up.

As a safety measure, a notification would still be a good idea just in case.

I assume those apps already exist: Which one would you recommend, preferably (ad-)free?

I found an app called ReadEra. It seems to do a decent job of dealing with a variety of formats and isn't huge. Can I move my Nook ebooks there? Can I also get that one I shouldn't have got from googoo drive?
