we are a small, freshly hatched, two persons indie-studio from Germany called Cuddly Creeps.

Our current project was made in our free time and we had to learn a lot about coding and designing first but it was fun to work on this.


We want to introduce you to our very first self-made game. SAM – Virtual Pet Dog.

In this free mobile pet app, you have to care for a little dog and play with him outside to fulfill his needs just like a Tamagotchi.


We're planning to add some more content to the game via updates, but we also really need some feedback first.

Planned are more breeds, more mini-games, more ways to spend your in-game money and more activities for your pet.


As this one is our first game, we're very excited and a little bit of afraid on getting your reviews.

Why a pet game?

I loved playing with my Tamagotchi and pet games when I was like 10years old. It was the time when the internet was full of screen-savers, flash videos and dumb mini-games when I got my first PC. I liked to just watch the animations and the feel of having a digital pet.

I also thought it would be a good beginner’s project from a developer’s point of view.

Since Corona started, we had a lot of time and wanted to fill it with something useful. As I already had some basic programming experience and my wife likes to draw, we decided to make this game.


Back to the game.

I chose Unity as my game engine, as it seemed easy to learn and is free to use.

Creating our pet, we tried to achieve a Disney-alike Comic look.

All graphics are handmade by us and we put a lot of love and way more time than planned into this project.


Of course, this post is some kind of advertising our game, to get clicks and reviews and push our game at the start. Every little bit helps as the competition is very high and we don’t have any money for paid advertising. The mobile market is a crazy place (we didn’t know this when we started ).

But this is also the chance for us to get some real useful critic to improve our game through updates.

And who could give us better feedback than you guys who know what it means to work on an Android project.

So, we would be very grateful to read your review and hear your opinion on our very first app.

Hi guys, I am trying to upgrade the firmware on a recently adquired A20. OTA upgrade keeps failing on a specific patch, the one that goes right before the big Android 10 firmware update. Now, I downloaded manually the stock ROM, but Iam really hesitant about flashing it manually. My concern is about why did the OTA failed if it should have downloaded the "correct" firmware, what if this "correct" stock ROM I downloaded is also incompatible and I brick the phone. Im listing below as much info as I can

Model: Samsung Galaxy A20 (SM-A205G)
Android version: 9
One UI: 1.1
Baseband: A205GNDXU4ASK2

Samsung Smart Switch info:
Current Software versionDA:SK2/ CSC: SK2/ PHONE: SK2 (TPA)

Failed OTA firmware: A205GUBS5ATA1 (this is the one that failed, acording to Samsung update list is the patch that "goes" right before the Android 10 update.

Now, I downloaded from https://sfirmware.com/es/ a stock ROM listed for this model and matching the PDA and CSC recommended by Smart Switch containing the following:

The question of couse is: is this the correct ROM for my device?

How do I best transfer all my apps, data and settings from my current Huawei Mate 20 Pro (Android 10) to a new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (Android 11)?
I know there are good and less good options, but which is the best, safest and easiest solution?

Apps are usually not the biggest issue so hints of a good method for data and settings will be very welcome.

Huawei has their own proposal (Phone Clone) just like Samsung (Smart Switch), but maybe a third party proposal is the best!

Anyone with a good experience?

Any help is appreciated.

i say in my andriod apps 4 double same apps named "Phone"

one of them appear once i open my apps from setting and the other there apps appears when I enble option "show system apps"

- my phone is Note 10 plus with 2 sims in the same time
- my system is Andriod 10

please advice if it is hacking apps or not

On my old phone (J3), I could select all my contacts and share to dropbox. They would be stored in my /personal/contacts/ folder as individual ,vcf files.
If I follow the same procedure on my new phone (A12), selecting all contacts, folder /personal/contacts/ includes just one file named contacts.vcf. This file includes only one contact.
If I do not select all, but just select a few individual contacts, the contacts.vcf file only includes details of the first selected contact.
Conclusion. However many contacts I select, only one is copied to dropbox in a file named contacts.vcf.

I activated my A10e yesterday. I can get messages from my contacts, but when I try to log into my Samsung acct or other apps that need code verification, no messages come through. Very frustrating, to say the least. Did I change something I shouldn't have?

I recently visited a relative of mine and he had a firestick connected to his LG TV. I want to cast my Galaxy S10 to it. So I connected with his wifi network. He went to the settings that turned on mirroring. I used my Galaxy S10 SmartView and his firestick device showed up in my choices list. I chose it and it was able to cast to the TV just fine.

Then he tried to do it on his Pixel 3a. His pixel could be seen looking for devices, but it never found the firestick or any other device. I tried it again and it immediately found it. He tried again and let it search for quite a while and it never found the device. I rebooted my phone to make sure it wasn't somehow holding onto the connection. He rebooted his phone. Still no device found to mirror to.

I searched the web and found people that seemed to get it to work with no issues. Has something changed such that it can't work anymore with pixel? Or is there some other trick remaining to make it work?

I'm going with gray leather for my S21 Ultra in May. Wallet/Portfolio design case. I traded in my S20 so pics will have to wait until I get to work tonight.

Hello I keep getting this error in Run when testing app in my phone

I haven't done anything, I just made new project and chose blank activity.
The app is being loaded in my phone, but without some colors.

is there anyone here that messes with nvr systems? i have one i got from ebay a 32 channel unit and when i got it it had 32 channels. i could never get the ting to show my ip cameras. so in messing with it i did an update thru the unit and now it is 16 channels.

i got it to show my ip cameras yesterday but i had to go ther the 8 ch nvr that is in use now. i have 18 cameras running and watch 12 on my dvr and 8 on the nvr.

now i got this board to show 16 of these cameras but only if the other dvr and nvr are turned on and running. i expect it to need the dvr to see then on the network but it sees all the ip cameras but will not let me use those cameras username and passwords.

how i finally got them to show the cameras was to go thru the other devices. and i will stii rung the dvr but i would like to turn off the old nvr and ust use the new one.

but now i have to get the 32 channels back that it had before i messed with the update. so maybe some here have a way to do that.

if you type in this number nbd8032ra ul v2 it take you to a website for i think is the mfg. and they have a firmware file but when i tired to install that the board said it was the wrong file. it unpacks as a bin file and even that will not go into the board. if you go to ebay you find them under that number and this number hi3536 2 or hi3536 chip2. any ideas on this sure would help out. thanks bob p.

first: yes i used the search function although i couldn't find a thread which addresses my issue in general, also i tried a few of the fixes regarding the notifications although it didn't solve my problem.

Phone: Doogee S88 Plus
OS: Android 10

I received this phone a while back and i'm pretty happy about it, although i noticed a very strange behaviour regarding nearly all apps.
Apperantly, every app that isn't a foreground app, will get killed or at least will not send notifications until they are opened which, you sure can think, is damn annoying.
Also, apps won't start with Android Auto, except Google Apps like News, calendar, maps and such. Spotify, Audible and every "external" apps will refuse to start on android auto until i open them manually on the phone, then they will show up on my car as well.

i checked the installed software and noticed a preinstalled energy saving app (which is funny with an 10Ah battery but well ) called com.cydroid.softmanager
Thinking this could be an issue i uninstalled/deactivated the app via ADB, although it didn't get better in any form.

And yes, of course i checked the battery optimization which is turned off for the usual apps which send notifications like Signal, Threema, Outlook, Authenticator and such
As i use Signal as my SMS/MMS app, i can say that i will not receive SMS/MMS notifications as well, i will receive them if i use the standard SMS app Messages though.
Also notifications in general are activated.

Maybe it has something to do with Doze? I'm currently at my wit's end.

I already thought about rooting the device, although it doesnt seems like that there is any rom out there for it, it has the option for OEM Bootloader unlock in the dev options though, but to be honest it's been a long while since i rooted android devices except from Samsung.

also i think it has to do with the background apps in general since foreground apps like my VPN (Cyberghost) will keep running without issues

also i noticed if i restart the phone all the apps will start correctly in the background, so it seems, since i'll get the notifications immediately
