Last night my phone suddenly reported that my sd card (sandisk extreme Pro 128gb micro sd) had a problem (i think to write to it) so it has made it read only. After restarting the sd card wasnt detected any longer. When connecting it to my Mac or asked if i wanted to format it. When looking at it in an app or seemed it was so as exfat format(is that normal for Android?). I used 2 days recovery apps that found about 1\3rd of the data.

1. What has actually happened to the card and was it the card or my android (Samsung galaxy s10+)?
   
   
2. What is the best way to un delete the card to recover correctly from? If not possible what is the best way to recover as much data as possible? (Should i use Windows or can i use Mac for the same effectiveness?)
   
   
3. should i reformat the card after recovering the data or just bin it? I'd there a way to assess if it is trustworthy still?

i'm trying to getCountryCode() on a WifiManager insance, i.e.


Although I set compileSdkVersion to 29 the compiler cannot find getCountryCode().

Does anyone of you know, why the compiler cannot resolve getCountryCode()?
Btw: setCountryCode() can't be found either whereas getConnectionInfo() can be resolved and used.

Short overview of the story:
The story is about five girls, who discover supernatural abilities like a special bond to one of the four elements. Laurel, the protagonist, also is repeatingly dreaming about a certain boy, but every time she encounters him in the dreamworld, his face looks unfocused. One day, a shady figure appears in her dreams as well, watching her from the shadows and threatening her. Laurel also encounters four other girls in the real world, who seem to have supernatural abilities just like her, though some of her friends seem closer to the darkness than Laurel might have thought at first gaze. The following days, the five girls meet up regularly and eventually find the way to a hidden school that teaches magic. But not all is as well as it seems. Laurel keeps getting into bad accidents and someday, one of her friends suddenly disappears without a trace. Is this related to the creepy shadows, that lurk around the school? Are they somehow connected to the mysterious school director? The shadows are coming… Can you keep your friends safe from them?

The whole book is parted into six parts and I’m already working on the third part now. A second book is planned as well.

I 've forgotten my password to unlock my phone, I've try to put the phone to recovery mode but it didn't work as the internet says. Then I've try Sony Companion but it don't support on my computer (running Windows 8.1 32 bit). So is there any way to unlock my phone?

So, yesterday my phone died. I lost all the apps on the phone. The data that I can't recreate such as pics, videos, docs, call logs and SMS messages I had backed up on schedule. But I don't know exactly all the apps I had installed. Going into play store and looking at all my apps, it's a lot. Plus my kids have downloaded so much junk under my profile, I'll be scrolling for days through junk to find the onesey twosey apps. Or I'll find them over the next month or so as I go to do some function.

I found an app that it inventories all the apps and allows me to copy to the clipboard where I need to manually paste it into a document.

But I'm not going to keep this up. It would be nice if there was some app that weekly or so inventories all of my apps and saves it to a text document preferably in my Dropbox drive.

I have Galaxy A51 phone with latest Samsung updates.
I have enabled wifi-calling and VoLTE calls at my mobile provider and in the phone,
It kinda works but with issues.

When I'm in my yard or the living room, and I disable mobile-data(for testing) and enable wifi-calling - I can call with no issue.
But when I'm in my bedroom which is like 1 wall away, it no longer works.
The reason I need the wifi-calling is because I have a bad reception in my bedroom, but the wifi connection is strong there, and I even tested with speed-test and got good download/upload speed in my bedroom.

I've looked at my router configurations and even disabled 5G as walls can cause issues with it, so I'm using 3G now.
Also near the wifi icon I do not see the letters VoLTE (even trough it is enabled in the mobile networks and network mode is LTE/3F/2G auto connect).

In theory I can but a device which makes the wifi signal stronger, but I don't see that this is a problem as the signal is already strong in my bedroom.

Any ideas?

As the name implies, I'm not too bright, so. please bear with me. I just reset my phone and after the restore, I can't open Drive. Get message " your version no longer supported, please upgrade to a newer version." Don't know how to do that.
Also, several things I expected to backup seemingly didn't. However, I did get a rather large ZIP file containing ??. Don't know how to open. Could this be the stuff I'm missing? How do I get to whatever is in there? Please advance my education!

Hello, the video has a very cool quality, when I upload it at a very low quality, can you help me?

I have bought a mount system to attach my phone to my bicycle. The mount sticks to the back of the phone or its case. However the instructions state it must be applied to a hard, rigid surface.
All the available cases/covers for my phone are either silicone or leather-ish. I don't want to stick the mount to the phone itself.
Any ideas? Is there maybe a sticker of some sort that will adhere to the case, that the mount will then attach to?

This is a common subject and I have already seen several solutions but none that adapt to me. My phone screen is totally dead, so I cannot see my way around. When I connect to a PC the device is shown but not the content even when unlocked. So, as far as I remember it is due to when connecting to a PC it asks for permission to transfer files.

My question is if I use an OTG splitter with a USB output and a regular micro USB female (same as the phone has). Could I connect a mouse and then through the Hub connect to the PC and then try to guess-click the confirm so that the PC is allowed to read the content??

For some weird reason that I cannot seem to find a setting for, the lock screen on my old junky but unlocked BLU Grand 5.5 HD (Android 6.0) is showing Eastern Time (zone) when it is set for Pacific Time and shows Pacific time everywhere except for the lock screen.

i have a nvr card i have to setup and test. i tired using tablets as monitors with the hdmi cables but they will not turn into monitors. i have a chromebook and that also has the hdmi port. can i turn the chromebook into a monitor so i can plug it into the nvr card and use the chromebook as the monitor so i can start setting up the nvr card to see my network cameras.
i know the card works as i have connected to the other nvr monitor but i do not want to keep moving that monitor. it would be much easier to have this one on it's own monitor so i can go back and forth comparing settings so i can get this card to see the same cameras the other nvr sees.

or is there a way to get my tablets to be turned into monitors? i found that i can make the table show on my tv but that is using the tablet as a output i need them to become inputs.

hi, I need to know what'd the procedure to connect a standard monitor, keyboard and mouse to my android phone as compared to buying an all-in-one lapdock. how do I find out what is the maximum resolution of monitor that will be supported by phone? is there additional hardware that can increase the resolution or are there phones available that support a higher output to monitor resolution?

I have not been having much luck buying Sprint phones on ebay lately. A couple have checked out as financially clear and not blacklisted when I check online but when I ask Sprint they say they are not eligible to be activated. One common factor is they have all said "poc swap: false" highlighted in red. What does this mean?

I play games like slots on my android phone it is a "Samsung Galaxy A10E" here is the problem I sometimes see slot machines I like but can't open them until I reach a specific level.
