I had a Moto g7 power cell phone. Unlocked using AT&T.
I had great service. Even had service in places that I never had service before with past cell phones.

The screen shattered and it was cheaper to buy the same phone than it was to have it fixed.

Bought the second one. Moto g7 power unlocked cell phone.
This one being the same phone but I have horrible service. Not much coverage at all.

Can someone please explain this.


Note that I bought both of these phones from eBay.
The only difference I am seeing is this current one shows the metro Logo as it is starting.

I have a problem on my Asus zenpad 10 z301mf. The setup wizard "keeps stopping" and I can't sign in. I tried to flash the firmware but cannot boot in recovery mode since the tablet is locked. Tried using hardreset.info and android 7.1.2 to unlock but not successful because I couldn't complete the final steps which use the setup wizard - which always stops ... Aaah!! Using the Settings on android 7.1.2 cannot enable USB debugging ("developer options are not available for this user") so can't use adb. Looks like I'm stuffed but I hope someone can prove me wrong.

First post here and I'm kind of confused. Just bought a new Android 10 phone and am trying to get the app sounds configured the way I want.

I'm having trouble with the Yahoo and Outlook mail apps in Android 10. The apps are sending me to the phone settings to change notification sounds but then the notification settings say "App Provided Sound" and if you try to click that to change the sound it gives a "Android.processes.media keeps stopping" error. It's ONLY these two apps that are causing me a problem. Gmail app (which I detest) seems to be able to reconfigure the sounds perfectly.

I found this other forum where a guy has pictures that describe this problem exactly, but there is no solution or even discussion, although he is complaining about a different app, but with the "App Provided Sound" problem.

I suspect this issue may stem from a disconnect between the app and the OS. I believe the app thinks the phone is supposed to take care of this and the phone thinks the app is supposed to take care of it. I have searched this and many other forums looking for a work around because I can't hear the app provided sound most of the time.

I have already tried clearing the cache, un-installing and re-installing. adding other email accounts and deleting, and rebooting the phone. I'm just confused and I'd appreciate if anyone has any input that may prove helpful.

My S8 Active (got new) is working just fine. It has yet to cause me any consternation. The battery is the original and it still holds a few days charge just sitting there. I don't know any other phone, old or new that is as sturdy as the Active. Is there any reason I need to look at a newer phone?

Google Assistant stopped working about 2 weeks ago and finally had to uninstall Google to factory default and it works again. Once I re-update Googler- Assistant does not work.

Does not work= does not even launch

Anyone else experience this and fix it?

I want a magisk module with the help of which I can change my device's Boot Animation and Splash Image.

I also want a list of them to chose from.

PS: I found a magisk module that does something similar but it didn't work for my device.

An easy way to change the boot animation and splash image is by getting some cool-looking image files from Telegram or other sources for your device. Download it, if it's a Splash Image, you can easily flash it via a recovery like TWRP or OFOX.

If it's a boot animation, you can replace the default bootanimation.zip file with a recovery like TWRP or with a File Manager like MIXplorer. But make sure the replaced files name is bootanimation.zip
It might even be bootanimation-dark.zip in some ROMs. You can easily figure this thing out.

For the first time, a Galaxy S Pen can be used on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, (only this model I am afraid.

This has to be purchased separately as an accessory and there is no space within the phone's chassis to store it as there is on the Galaxy Note range.

I have a Blu R2 Plus, and I constantly get this issue where the media services stop working.

This has several ramifications, I can't take screenshots, photos, or sometimes even connect to my computer and move files.Does anyone know how to fix this? It just weirdly comes and goes, sometimes I can use my camera and everything no problem, sometimes it doesn't work, and even restarting the phone and clearing the cache doesn't fix it.

I have a wife in the eighties who has difficulty with swiping to answer calls....stiff fingers which face you all!
There must be some sharp person out there who knows a way to answer the call without having to swipe.....doing it with the old single tap for example.

My Maps app was working perfectly until I paired my phone with the handsfree Bluetooth app for my car. Now, if my Bluetooth is turned on, enabling the phone calls to go through my car, the Maps app won't speak to me. If I turn my phone bluetooth off, the voice on the Mapp app returns.

I took the phone into a T-Mobile store, and the sales rep couldn't find any settings that might cause this. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm upgrading to an iPhone SE 2020 after learning that my 3G ATT Prepaid Pantech Crossover will no longer be supported in the near future.

I can generate a .vcf file with contacts.
I can't save my texts. They don't have to transfer to the iPhone, but I'd like some kind of record of them.

Phone won't let me upgrade the OS beyond Android 2.2.1 (Froyo).
I can't access Market on the phone to load the SMS Backup App (this phone is so old that Google Play must not have existed when I got it).

I got as far as creating a new gmail account and connecting that to the Marketplace, but when I click on the "Marketplace" icon, the Pantech Crossover just gets hung up "loading."
1) Any suggestions?
2) Can I send the texts to my new gmail account?
3) In playing around with text threads, I see an option to "Move to Sim" but when I select that nothing seems to happen.
4) It looks like I could load some ATT Mobile App on the iPhone SE, but I've never used that before and don't know if it will help me back up the text messages.
