Hi, this issue is on a Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite.
The schedule power OFF works fine, but schedule power on only works sometimes, which means the alarm often fails to go off, because the phone doesn't always power on automatically.

Any ideas about a way to fix it? The Mi version is 12.0.1.0 Stable.

Is this a common software issue?

Hi everyone, please help me figure why my new-ish Huawei P30pro won't connect to a HDMI screen using a usb adapter cable? My first 'help request' here!

#1 I can't see this handset recognised on Android forum? It gets auto recognised as VOG09

#2 this isn't going to a smart TV, just a HDMI screen - of which I have 3 or 4 variants of need be, of carrying she's but including a 4k model purchased in 2019.

I can see several YouTube reviews that suggest the worked connection works better than WiFi option, and this function was one of the key selling points for me getting a new handset. Previously I had a P10 only to find several of the features I thought were included were only on the pro version. Now the P30pro has USB-c 3.1, so should be a a synch...

Got a cable specifically for the task; Y cable with power-charging connection, plus the HDMI and USB-c connection.

#3 I plug it in, and phone recognised only same as though it was plugged into a PC:
'Do you want to - transfer photos, transfer files, charge, reverse charge..'

When what I really want to occur is the question I see on the YouTube: desktop mode or screen mirror.

Over the last month or so I've noticed that my watch will not sync my gmail anymore. I've turned the watch off and back on again and nothing. Once in a while it works if I disconnect and reconnect using the Wearable app on my Android phone but why should I have to do that whenever I'm out and want to check email? All used to work just fine since I bought both products over a year ago. But now, very frustrating and wondering what's the point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello guys! I'm building app that is meant to be a collection of links to articles and videos on some health and fitness related topics. The idea is that instead of searching trough many confusing information about diets and training programs on the Internet, the user will be provided with a menu with different categories, for instance Fitness, Nutrition, Men's health, Women's health etc. When the user chose a category, a screen with links to articles on the chosen topic will appear and he will be able to open them. The links will be open in Chrome Custom Tab inside the app. So, my question is am I violating some copyright policies or something if my app is full of third party links?

My phone is mainly for studying medicine on AnkiDroid. I love my setup. I've got an old phone (HTC M8) and for extra speed it's rooted and I've got the apps moved to the SD card. But alas! I need to upgrade from Lollipop to Marshmallow. I did so. Tried my two favorite ROMs: Cyanogenmod (13) and Android Revolution HD (53.1), and neither are compatible with Link2SD. Well. They are compatible for a while. You move all the apps to the SD card and everything works perfect. Until you boot. When you boot the apps on the SD card vanish.

Do you know a workaround for this?

I asked the experts on Fiverr. I've offered to pay, but no-one has had an answer. If you know how to fix this, and would walk me through it, I would gladly offer $50 for the help. Gladly. I haven't been able to study proper for many months, due to this conundrum, so getting it fixed would be very valuable to me.

I'm trying to prolong the life of my Samsung S5, Android 6.0.1, non-rooted, but I'm running out of space to add new apps and data. Even after removing unused apps and unused data, just updating the remaining apps filled the storage to the point where Google Play refused to load, or even update, any more apps. A current check of Storage shows that I'm using 15.53GB out of 16GB internal storage and 4.31GB out of 29.48GB on a 32GB SD card. I've gone through all my remaining apps and made sure that any apps which can be transferred to external storage have been sent to the card, so I'm considering reformatting the SD card from removable external storage to internal storage in order to give me the additional internal storage I need.

My question is this: What is the best way to preserve the existing apps and data on the external SD card and restore them to the phone after the card is reformatted to internal storage? I have some thoughts on this, but thought I'd first pick the brains of folks who are smarter than I am.

Any and all help with this will be appreciated.

Hi all, been haveing problems with a hacker the last few monthes messing with all me stuff online. Any way tonight i recived a txt & within a few minutes i heard a family member i live with talking abought the context of said msg, now i recived a provisioning msg & installed it a few days ago witch i presume is how the have accessed my msg ect, it installed into the vodaphone settings but in not shure how to access it to uninstall it, any help would be appriacted

Huge problem - about 1 year ago, could be less/could be more, my phone call recorder stopped working. I tried different ones, always with the same result. I have been in a few situations where I needed that feature.

OK, I'm trying to be cheap and not pay for TV service anymore. When changing channels on pluto, it will play for a second and crash.

Is it possible (with user permission of course) to have an app completely delete all the settings of another app? For instance if I wanted to log someone out of an another app and erase their stored login information so when they run that app again they're starting over like they just installed it?

A few days ago I had my phone charged at my desk around 80%. I took a nap and when I woke up, my phone was dead. I charged it and noticed that it was taking much longer than usual to finish starting up. When I checked, my home screen app grid had changed. I used to have three choices for it and now I have two. I had the one where I could drag two apps and create a folder, push and hold down the screen to bring up the widget selection. It changed to EasyHome. EasyHome and Home & app drawer are the only to I can select. I don't like either one because it forces having the apps app on my screen which I have to select to get to my apps. I noticed I had apps missing and many of them that no longer work having the green android icon on them. I removed those and re-installed them and some work while others don't want to respond forcing me to close it. The weather default app no longer wants to open so I can set my location. And there is some other strange thing that has been going on before this happened. When I'm in settings my screen flashes and back tracks to the start or it will it will bring up the selection of changing my current actions (bottom square button). If it even matters, I have an LG Tribute HD (2016). I've taken care of it. It's pretty much in mint condition and never spilled anything on it.

I develop lots of little programs for my home and now I just need a very simple app that i can use with my programs. The app should do only 2 things :
1. read a barcode
2. save it on the phone in a text file (1 barcode per file)

Important is that after each barcode is read, it is stored in a separate text file on the phone. the file must have a unique sname so preferably based on date and time (incl milliseconds)

Thats all because I can read, write and delete in an android phone so I can check these files, so I can use my phone as a barcode reader

In FB Messenger my messages get stuck on 'sent' for about a day before it's marked as received. This happens with just one person though. I thought the person blocked me but if that was the case the messages would be stuck on sent forever right? Or will they get the received mark after a while, even if the person has blocked you? I can still see the last seen status of that person both on Facebook and FB Messenger.

the budget for the game is low at the moment,

the game has 3 quality presets, that helps with low end devices.
i have a 150$ Huawei phone with Android 8 on it,
and fps is ~40 on lowest settings and ~10 on highest settings.
I wonder if there is a device that would perform 60fps on highest settings.
