Hey guys, last week I've got my hands on a brand new Redmi Note 5 Pro and wanted to install twrp on it so I can do the good stuff ( root, adblocking, custom roms, etc... ). The bootloader is unlocked. OEM Unlocking is turned on in Developer options and also is USB Debbuging. But fastboot simply doesn't do anything, when I try to flash something it just shows me this:

And that stays there forever, until I'm forced to unplug the device and it returns with this:

FAILED (Status read failed (No such device))

Simply nothing happens, I tried flashing it, booting it, tried the orangefox image instead but it always does this, can someone help me here?

I bought a new sd card. Inserted it today and found out that it wasn't appearing in any of my file managers and so I couldn't move my media to the sd card. I started exploring and in the settings I found an option which was something like "move files to sd card and free up 6.8 gb" so I did it.

After it was done , sd card was still not appearing in my file managers. In the phone settings when I click on sd card storage it says that 6.8 gb of APPLICATION data is in my sd card , but it doesn't show any of the apps in it. Also , my phone has gotten much slower , and a lot of my apps aren't working , and my YouTube isn't loading since doing that (I use yt Vanced).

Worst part of it is I don't know what kind of data is occupying my sd card , and I don't even know how to move it back to my internal storage. Phone settings says it's application data , gallery says it's media it's one big mess.

Plz help me I really need this problem fixed and I don't want to factory reset my phone

I just bought a second-hand Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 and am trying to take it apart to clean all the dust out inside.

But I'm stuck at the stage where I have to pry off the back panel because when I do, I bend a piece of the circuit board beneath the audio jack that is stuck to it.

Since the app has no intensions having ending up on the play store...signed code isnt needed!

I need to port an application that uses a linux TunTap interface. It receives and presents packets like a network interface and uses the TunTap interface to do it. Usually one would need to root a device (and maybe load a custom rom). I was wondering if there is another way to get the same feature?

I have an Ulefone s10 pro (i know it is a no-name and very cheap) I have had it for about a year now and I added some storage to is using a TF card. I wanted to use the storage on the card but when i "migrated" storage from the internal storage nothing happened so I proceeded to delete my largest app and nothing yet again happened so I plugged my phone into my pc and removed 3GB worth of photos and nothing. I also noticed that the main storage (the one that came with the phone) couldn't be seen or edited in any way.

I was just wondering if someone knew how to fix this and if it were possible to get my phone to use the new storage.

My MotoG7 phone runs Android 10. I want to add a longer notification sound than the choices provided. So I created a short .mp3 file, and downloaded it to my phone. When I click on 'Add Notification' my MP3 file pops right up. I select it. But nothing happens. I don't see any other step to take at this point.

I have tried the same procedure to try and add it to the ringtone. Just like for the notification sound, I get to the same point, but nothing happens.

I have spent hours searching on the internet, but have not been able to find anything that addresses this problem. I have tried some of the procedures mentioned for various versions of Android, but they don't work either.

Have I missed an obvious step somewhere, or is this a known problem?

Also, is there a way to change this purple background to white? It is hard for me to read what I write.

I need help with this. I updated my a70 to Android 2.5. After that I have a weird Arabic text behind the time.

I use the Tablet Lenovo TB-X704V for streaming music via a Bluetooth device.

The Android Version is NOUGAT 7.1.1

The problem is that despite the fact that under 'Developer Options' the button for 'Enable Bluetooth HCI snoop log' is OFF - I repeat, the button is 'OFF' - the device keeps on logging and producing an alarming number of 'btsnoop_hci.log' files (4Gb worth in 2 days - because I stream music all day).

To stop the device from running out of 'Storage space' i have to keep deleting the files. I would like to solve this ridiculous problem.

- Before this problem began to occur the 'Enable Bluetooth HCI snoop log' button was NEVER turned ON. In other words the device began logging HCI snoop files WITHOUT enabling Bluetooth HCI snoop log.

- This problem was NOT solved by RESETTING (factory reset) the tablet.
