I got a phone which is SUGAR Y8 MAX. But I later realized that there's full of China pre-installed apps....
I'm here to declare, I really don't want to stir up disputes. Just because I had some very depressing experiences from those China programs.
Until now, I still couldn't put up with those apps.
I must find a way to clean up those stuff which makes me scare. But I have no idea where should I modify or how many stuff I have to modify.
Is there anyone who know how to get rid from those stuff ? Please help

P.S. before modifying I should find a way to get root access in order to copy the image from the needed partition. I tried TWRP but I haven't found a correct image. Maybe there's other way?

I have the setting 'silence phone when wearing watch' switched on for apps. However Facebook notifications still sound. All other apps seem to obey the setting. Can anyone suggest a remedy?

I have a Xperia XA2 Ultra which has a little curve but all of the tempered glass screen protectors are short and dont cover the whole screen.

Should i get one of those as the only other option is TPU film protector used for scratches not drop protection ?

If i get one of those tempered glass protectors and the screen protector doesnt cover the edge will the actual glass still break ?

What other options are there for curved screens ?

I came to this forum because I sometimes have problems with my Galaxy S8. (I'm aware that most of the time I'm the actual problem). I love this phone, but it seems to have features and quirks I simply don't get. I just posted my first entry here about the way my gmail inbox list has a bad habit of making an entry in the inbox list slide off the right edge of the screen and simply disappear! It probably has something to do with my faulty scrolling, but I have no idea how to get it back once it's gone....

My Galaxy S8 has a feature that's a real nuisance. Sometimes I'm scrolling down the inbox of my gmail, and I guess I move my finger the wrong way, since all at once an entry in the list of emails slides off to the right of the screen and totally disappears. I've tried searching for it in archives and in trash, with no luck. Where do these things go when this happens - an Android black hole? Is there a way to retrieve this? Many thanks.

After updating my Google Pixel 3a to android 11, I can't find files and folders of this location: "/android/data" by the device. "Files" by google shows empty at that location. But I can see them through PC via USB transfer. Why can't I access that location of storage and how can I get access on the device?

So I just set up a VPN server on my OPNsense firewall. I want to connect to it using my Android 9 phone with Lineage 16 using IPSec Xauth RSA.
Importing the CA certificate works great, but when I import the VPN client certificate it doesn't work the way it should. I don't get an error or anything, but the certificate is not in the list of possible "IPsec user certificate" in the VPN settings. It is, however, in the list of "IPsec server certificate" in the VPN settings. I double checked the OPNsense settings, and I can see that the certificate is clearly marked as a client certificate, not a server certificate. This suggests to me that android somehow does not realize that this certificate is a client/user certificate instead of a server certificate.

What can I do?

Just received a screen shot from a Samsung phone from my current partner (who was previously on dating apps early in the relationship) and trying to figure out what one of the apps on the status bar relates to. It is a capital T in a square and a capital I in a square. I did think it was tinder but other posts seem to indicate that will appear as a flame. Unless tinder has the ability to change how the app appears? Any ideas?

We are having this odd issue with our app "CyranoApp". This app has been in the google play store for almost 4 years now. But suddenly this app is having issues getting found and not getting downloaded on to Samsung S10 phones. We tried with multiple S10's and also did a factory reset of S10. Still the same issue. I also tried to update the removing the uses feature,Compatible-Screen tags in the manifest files and try to deploy to Google Play Store and I did an internal test by play store also having this error This App is no longer compatible with your device.. Still facing the same issue.

I go to the storage area in settings and when I press format, I only get the option to format as portable storage. How do I format the SD card as internal storage? Thank you in advance for your assistance. The model number for my tablet is SC 4317BT made it by supersonic.
