I have a Galaxy J7 Crown with internal storage of 16GB. 10GB of this is being used by system apps that I can not uninstall. Not with apps necessary for the running of android and the UI; but things like three different weather apps, the Galaxy store, hancom office suite, and Bixby.

What I have done so far:
-Manually gone through and cleared the cache and data, forced stop, and then disable offending apps. At the same time I remove all permissions and default info. This does nothing, when I back out the data reverts back to what it was before I cleared it.
-Installed an Unistaller app. It says it removes the files but doesn't.
-I install any new apps onto an sd card to try to save space; but the apps crash when opening. It is also super annoying to have to keep track of what apps are updating and which ones are allowed to be moved onto the sd card so updates take three times longer then they should.
-Finally when my internal storage was maxed out and I couldn't free up any space I did a factory restore.

Please, does anyone know a way to remove this garbage from my phone?

For almost two months I've contacted Samsung almost daily complaining of weird files phishing attack. Weird occurrences. Ive posted lots of proof of this on another thread. This is what I was told this morning.

Has anyone else gotten an email that looks like its from Samsung and asks you to add their email to your contacts? I wasn't born yesterday. And that email address traces to Adobe Inc. WEIRD eh. Maybe I'm on to something. I overlooked this email till today.

I recently changed the junk cleaner to one that has over 15K 5 starts and I like it.

However, it has one feature that I am not able to use and not sure how to use it or it might not be available for my device which is running Android Lollipop.

The feature that is not working is adding a file from only three categories (that is the option) to the "whitelist". I don't want that option.

Can someone download it and test it and then let me know how to use it (Maybe using Screenshot). I tried contacting the developer team last week but no replies yet.

There are two whitelist features. The one I need is on the clean page for items that I don't want scanned each time for cleaning. The other feature works normally.

I've had this Alcatel Pixi 4 (6.0) phone for just under 3 years. A couple of months ago my Contacts app stopped opening, then more recently my Camera app wouldn't open and now my Calendar app opens, but doesn't send notifications of saved events.

Could this be because of System updates (as suggested by a tech friend)?

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Hi you all!
I got a new Samsung s10 lite, after useing Samsung s8 for a couple of year.
All in all, I'm very pleased from those devices, except for one annoying issue-
I choose Heartbeat vibration pattern (setting), but in both devices it ignores me...and vibrate in Ticktock vib. pattern.
I like it to vibrate gentely and shortly, and it's appear that Samsung dosen't anable it...
I've tryed the Good Vibreation app (free version) to set another vibration, but the device's vib. patterns are predominant.
Any suggestion on how to customize the vib. pattern as I choose and like?

On the 8 there was an opt in only option to read the time. when the alarm sounded. You could not choose a voice localle, it was always the annoying American voice but at least it would say "Six Thirty" or "Seven Fifrty Five"

On the 10 It is the default and pipes up, louder than ever "IT IS EIGHT COLON FORTY!"

Yes, none of us like the time read out on alarms and just turn it off but what the blithrering barneys is going on in the alarm software where the text to speach routine can no longer recognise text in a time format?

It finally recognized the sim card but said that it wasn't from Verizon (true). It still claims no files on sd (sandisk, yes). I took out the Cricket sim and dumped a couple of apps, including Dropbox, which I've never used. Then all hell broke loose. I have no idea why, but the vpn wouldn't work, then came on by itself I guess, and Firefox keeps pulling this "secure connection failed" stuff. It was trying to dissuade me from going to this site, and it won't show the latest postings. I can't get near Memory Zone, and as if that weren't enough, it's now rejecting the charger, which has worked, if slowly. I paid about 7 bucks for it at a convenience store. What the heck is wrong with this thing (S5)?

I have been following video tutorials on Android Studio and I am referred to the hello world app.
I found the video tutorial and all went well until about 5 minutes in on the "activity_main.xml" page. there are no Design and Text buttons on the bottom left as in the video. the display appears to be set in design.
How do I switch to text mode or get the buttons?

It seems as though Code and Design in the top right corner do the same thing. Perhaps this is a version issue.

ok so looks like my mom has got the bug....LOL. she likes my 180 so much that she wants one in the family room. my 180 and reef tank are in my room.

.....so now i'm looking to do maybe a simple minimalistic planted tank with only one or two plants. i have not decided on what size or what types of fish i want to put in it yet.

here are some ideas i'm looking into:
my lfs might have some good deals on used tanks with a stand...so i'm gonna look over the weekend. i do know that it will need a decent light, a canister filter, heater, and most likely a co2 unit as well.
