My Metro phone cannot receive or send calls. The Metro Stores said for the first time ever one of the satellites is not working. Estimated time for repair is 1 hour.

So my phone is busted, the screen is completely screwed up and there's nothing I can do except get a new phone when my finances allow. However, there's an issue. My phone has to stay on so I get notifications when people text me, so I don't leave them hanging for 30 minutes. The issue here is my alarm. It goes off every 5 minutes and I cannot find a way to disable it. It's been doing this for an hour and a half now and shows no signs of stopping. I can't turn the phone off (holding the power button doesn't seem to work) and I don't know if there's a way to disable the alarm while not a pixel on my phone functions as normal and the touchscreen doesn't work either. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I recently got the T01 Truly Wireless Earbuds, and they were working fine with my Galaxy J3 until a day ago. They connect just fine to the phone, but will not play audio. It will basically be mute, even if I have the volume all the way up. I've tested the earphones with other devices and they work, so I know it's an issue with the phone. I've paired and unpaired, restarted my phone, and reset network settings, but nothing solves my issue. If the issue requires me to factory reset, I'll just suck it up and get a new phone, but I want to see if I can solve this issue before it comes to that. I have sought out general advice for Bluetooth and Samsung/Android but I've had no luck. Any advice?

Where do i go, if my wife need a replacement for an rather old LG G2 mini.
My requirements are quite simple really...
NOT bigger - preferably smaller - than the G2 mini (129 x 66 x 10 mm) - I know that narrows it down to about 0....
Why is it not possible to get a reasonably sized android phone anymore?
The g2 mini has actually been a great device... She even think it is to big....
Is it really nessesary to go Apple? I don't wan't that!

Can anyone help me ? Im booting a Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (android 8.1.0). I never booted anything before but i got a couple of tutorials. But in the 'teamwin' menu i cant find any img files to install.
I used a different micro sd cards but it does not work
Does anyone know how to fix? Or how to put an img file on the phone without SD Card

i have lenovo tab s8 50lc and it does not have an os installed and when i try to flash a custom rom or even the stock rom it fails and it never boots .... i tried to put it into recovery and had twrp started from pc as it is not flashed on the device and i tried fastboot method using adb and it tells me that it is unauthorized as usb debugging is not turned on or the oem unlock option in dveloper options so could you please help me

I'm using firebase ML for image recognition. But the result is just showing the label and the confidence. How do i add sliding pages and selection option instead of just labels.

When I say delay, I don't mean slow Internet. I have a 50mbs fiber connection, and speed test shows that's what I'm getting. The problem is that in certain apps, when I initiate an action that requires Internet access, there is a very long (up to about a minute) delay before the transfer starts. Once it starts, no problem.
My wife's phone (Nexus 5, Android 6) has none of these problems, nor does my chromebook or Windows laptop using the same network.
I have seen this problem in Play Store, Kindle app, Google Contacts app, and probably some others. Most Internet apps work just fine.
After trying many things, I thought wiping the system cache might be the answer. I've done this before with other phones, but, to my surprise, after I get to Recovery Mode, that option is not there!
So I went for a factory reset, not loading the backup, but starting from scratch. I still have the problem.
Any wisdom out there?

I am using Total Commander to look into the file structure but cant find where they are. They seem to be in the system folder but i can see it.

I cannot simply install the apk of my Android app on Sony Xperia XA2.

I gave permission for unkown apk sources
I disabled AVG Protection (who knows)
I gave "install" permission to Chrome also
I tried with: 1. Astro File Manager, 2. Chrome 3. "APK Installer" from apk.cafe
In all cases I can press "install" button wih result message "App not installed".

Why ???

Backround: I have created a small Android app. In debug mode (debug build) it deploy and runs fine on my Sony Xperia by using Android Studio + ADB. Now I created a release build (with own certificate made by Android Studio's menu) to see how it runs. But I cannot install it

Any hints are welcome. Crazy to spend hours on a 2 min action...

I have a LG L90 D415 that I bought back in 2014 and is working perfectly. I was using it with the last official update sent by the manufacturer (Andorid 5.1.1 Lollipop), but one single APP stop working and when I check for that APP, for it to work I needed to have Android 6 Marshmallow. Problem was that the manufacturer stop supporting the unit and they decided not to provide any other update beyond 5.1.1. Luckily I found that there was version 7 Nougat for my unit as an AOSP with Linange OS. Me, being an ignorant of android configuration, had a hard time installing it but finally was able to make it work. If not for that APP that stop working I would never change the OS but at the end I was happy, it was like having a new phone. I was able to install the APP and make it work. Then few days ago I read this article:

The article is talking about devices that won't be able to work due to outdated security certificates. Specifically about andorid devices using Android version 7 Nougat (the one that I recently install on the phone), the article says:


Since I have an old unit it seems that there is no interest from the LinageOS people to build at least version 8 of Android for the LG L90. So I need to ask, What are my options? Is there a way to find updated security certificates?

I'm pretty pleased with my tablet, but it takes an abnormally long time to start up after turning on. The message says '.optimizing apps 1 of 1', and stays that way for 4 or 5 minutes before finally starting. Is this normal, or is there a way I can speed up start? It's not a major problem, but annoying just the same. Thanks for your help.

Recently on startup this tablet has started saying "Optimising app 1 of 1" which takes ages to clear.
I found out all the app install dates using "App Detective".
I have uninstalled in sequence the last 12 apps installed during 2020 and 2019 but nothing has changed.
Is there a way to find out which app is causing this so I can uninstall it ?
